As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, use your skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land. Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements, while teaming up with or preying upon hundreds of other players to survive, dominate... and escape!

The game will include 60 dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, some gargantuan in nature and you can tame some of these beasts to aid you in your survival, but it’s not just the animal life you have to worry about. Other players will be organising rebel tribes with the aim to destroy anything they see as a threat. Hope and pray this isn’t you as the tech tree spans the primitive stone-age all the way to the modern electric-powered era and beyond.

I'm usually pretty cynical about these types of games despite being fascinated by the genre, but this one has awesome graphics (relatively for these types of games), dinosaurs, and the ABILITY TO RIDE THEM! I think I'm in. The fact that they're planning on console versions gives me hope it won't be a jank fest too. I really hope it's good.

Damn, looks really fun! And the graphics are looking great, I wonder what engine they're using. I can see a lot of appeal with this one; even though there's a huge swell of these types of games.

And I'm so glad it's coming to consoles! However, I wish they dialed down the head bob though; it usually doesn't bother me, but this is way too extreme.

Wow that looks great actually! Would love to play early access on console... hope MS/Sony are getting things like that in the future. Until then... I will just play on my Mac I guess, which is actually quite amazing as barely any major survival game has a mac version as far as I remember. If it's good I'm happily going for a ps4 purchase in June 2016 I love dinosaurs!

I believe it's UE4. It... feels like UE4 (I work with it everyday so I got used to it). Mainly stuff like the grass.. I assume they're using temporal AA which makes the grass slightly blurry.

Looking good though, and the music is neat!

Considering what they're showing off already looks in a better state than anything we saw of stomping lands i'm holding out hope. The Early Access will tell us all we need to know on just what to expect. Considering they have PS4 and Xbox One versions plan seems to me that have some serious work going into this.
