2015 Console Screenshot Thread (PS4, XB1, Wii U) [READ OP!]

Xenoblade and The Witcher look great. I have been watching some vids on my tv at 1080p and even with compression both look great in their own hardware.

wow...

Can't unsee the clipping in that cutscene, now two of you have posted.

Foliage is pretty average but the rest looks great. Nice to finally see it rolling in to the thread.

The size and scale of the world in AC Unity is just insane. Also the game is not as bad as people make it to be, I actually quite enjoy it so far. Might end up being one of my favorite Creed games.

The Witcher 3's AA isn't very good on PS4, and then combined with the lower res on Xbone it almost looks as messy as Assassin's Creed Unity.

Jesus.

Were these edited at all? I see macroblocking that shouldn't be there in pngs.
I'm not seeing any macroblocking, but a few bright highlights around darker details against the sky. It's not as apparent as Project Cars'.

It looks like there might actually be a sharpen filter in both versions of TW3, maybe to counteract FXAA blurriness? It's not a very good looking combo.

I'm seeing definite compression artifacts on the boat in the 2nd picture. Particularly on the edge of the boat where it meets the water. It looks like a jpeg despite being a PNG.

Maybe abload is compressing pictures now.

Nice! Post some night shots if you get a chance.

I vastly prefer day time shots in, well, pretty much every game I've ever played because nights just don't look very interesting in most games, but I'll see what I can do.

The original Xenoblade had some areas that were really beautiful at night though.

I really, really love the look of this game sometimes. The engine is not perfect, particularly with having a non-bokeh based DoF, and the LOD not being the greatest, but it sometimes blows me away. Fantastic lighting, character models, texture quality, AF, cloth physics, and camera-based motion blur.
