I might jump on this if it was part of that $299 ebay deal. I have a $10 coupon I'd apply towards it.

The kinect is black for a reason. Which is that most tvs are black, and since the kinect is usually attached to the top of the TV or placed below it, if it were white it would be a really distracting contrast. The kinect being black allows it to blend in with your TV, unless you actually have a white TV which I doubt.
I have a clear stand....its awkward either way lol....so at least have it match my console.
I thought you couldn't play 360 games on the Xbox One?

For future reference, all official console bundles have digital games on Xbox One. So it will only be a retailer bundle that has a physical disc, if that helps.

No. Only KI is on the XB1 and that wasn't made by Rare.

There is almost no point for the game to not be digital since you are forced to dl a 30+ gb patch to play it anyway. Digital is in many ways better since you can jump into a game with a few button presses without the need to fumble for a disc, many prefer it for frequently played games like Halo.All good until I read the game is digital

Xbox one is not compatible with 360 games, not even games from the Xbox arcade. Really sucks if you want to move to an X1 and don't want to abandon your Xbox 360 library, you are essentially forced to keep an Xbox 360 if you want to keep playing those games.

But the Xbox One is the all-in-one gaming system I thought. I suppose I mistakenly thought a company like Microsoft would utilize a similar model to that of Apple and let users still download legacy apps on new hardware.

I've had the Sunset Overdrive bundle version for a while now. The white console is beautiful.

I can understand not offering hardware BC. But they should at least have included their key first party titles on a digital service.
Just because a game is on XBLA doesn't mean it's a simple flip to the Xbox One. That game was built around the 360 which would require a dev to go in and rebuild the game to work with the Xbox One. Doesn't matter how big or small a game, that's what would be required. For the majority of devs, it's just not worth the time and man power and if it is, they are turning them into remasters.

The games are coded to utilize the hardware and the OS of the Xbox 360. These are not PC games which are coded to the system OS which lets the system decide how to use the hardware available via DirectX. The games would have to be recoded from the ground up. Trust me, both MS and Sony would love to be able to profit of of those old games still. They just simply can't do it which is why they select certain key titles to remaster they feel will sell enough to be profitable.

I really like the looks of the white One. Very much. However, with every other* dang thing I own being black, it just doesn't make any sense for me.

Those bastards, for bundling their own game with the console to provide more value to buyers!
Such a non-issue, heaven forbid they bundle it. Its a big game for them and good they've put it in ready for Halo 5 later this year
