After UC4, what will be Sony's next big exclusive?

So ever since Uc2, Uncharted has been pretty much PlayStation's biggest franchise of the newer generation. It hasn't always been this way, it was only after Uc2 and the critical acclaim it received. Suffice to say, I think the game exceeded what ND expected in its reception. But Uc2 is what I think propelled Uncharted into one of the biggest video game franchises to date, and what makes Uc4 the most anticipated Ps4 game yet to be released, the PlayStation's "Halo" for all intents and purposes which is of course one reason why it was big piece of news when it was announced the game would be delayed into next year.

Which leads me to ask: once Uc4 drops, what will be their next really big game? I don't mean to say that as if there are no other PlayStation franchises, there obviously are, but I wonder if there will be any that will be released with as much anticipation as Uc4.

The most de facto answer would probably be gow4, but I'd also like to think that perhaps one of their new IPs that release before and/or after Uc4 will end up having a huge turnout, which is how Uncharted eventually turned out to become what it was, last generation.

What do you think?

They probably will come up with a new strong IP. Maybe by Naughty Dog themselves, or maybe by another developer... who knows, maybe even the new Guerrilla RPG.

It will mostly depends of what gets announced at SCE's E3 and Tokyo Games Show (and maybe PSX), because in terms of First-party titles, I can't really say cause a bunch of new IPs were cancelled before we could even get a glimpse of what they could have been (referring to SSM's cancelled project and Bend's other projects). Personally, I would say whatever SuckerPunch is working, because I feel people are kind burned on the God of War series (unless they bring tremendous changes to the next game or pillars of the franchise).

Gran Turismo 7 is the easy answer. There are far too many logistical reasons as to why Gran Turismo 6 under-performed, mainly due to how people underestimated the hunger of a new generation. I'm more hesitant to say God of War as Ascension under-performed due to severe case of burnout from the franchise and overall lack of quality.

That being said, no one expected either God of War or Uncharted to become such commercial successes they are now back then, so its entirely likely that a new IP from Sony could become their next sales trigger. Them getting an IP of such caliber from outside of Naughty Dog is a bigger question personally though.

Best wishes.
