Amnesia: Memories will launch for PS Vita and PC via PlayStation Network in North America and Steam on August 25, and via PlayStation Network in Europe on August 26, Idea Factory International announced.

The visual novel game puts players in the role of the heroine, whose life depends on hiding her recent loss of memory, as she navigates “complex relationships” with five men.

Nice! Kinda unrelated but i loved the opening song to the anime based on this game. I didn't watch the show, but I'm hopeful that the game will be good.

Alot of people say that there's games being released on the Vita...

But whenever I look at them, they seem to be all generic anime visual novels.

There's actually very very few visual novels in the west on Vita. Maybe more than on PS4 but I bet there's been less than 5 localized this year for example.

And as an Otome this one is a particular oddity so I'll be interested to see how it performs even if I'm not really interested in playing it.

Now they're teasing an exclusive retail limited edition to their Iffy Store:

Will we unlock a secret route to the heart of Iffy's Online Store...!? Will memories of an exclusive be revealed!? Stay tuned for next week's newsletter!

Thought it was a surprise sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent and A Machine for Pigs. I'm now disappointed. :(

And from the looks of it, it'll be properly announced at their conference @AX.

I'm getting excited for AX even though I know I'll probably end up disappointed D:.

At least we're (most likely) getting GE:RB 2 and Digimon Cyber Sleuth!

Not everyone likes the same games. What a strange world we're living in.

I never said anything about quality or liking certain types of games. Just making a statement on how it seems to me that very often when a new vita game is announced (for either JPN or NA) they always seem to be the same type of thing.

So just setttttttle down there.

There's like 6 VNs on Vita in English, and that's counting stuff like Danganronpa so I guess you see mostly Japanese news?
I mean, there are more Musous, Monster Hunter clones and JRPGs available in the West.

But yeah, there's a shitload of games with anime designs.

If there's somesort of limited edition I'm all over that. And August 25th, huh? figures they'd pick a date relevant to the plot, haha.

The Japanese version dropped on my doormat when this version was announced lol.
I enjoyed the game a lot, will buy it again to support the genre.

Curious about that limited edition!

I think they'll announce new games at Anime Expo as well, since after Amnesia, they have no more games announced.

I like the box though.

Shame they couldn't include a physical copy of the game though unless EU gets shafted in that :D

I'll probably get it anyway and toss a memory card in there to pretend there's a physical game in there, lol

Uhm, okay. This looks underwhelming, but kinda funny. Honestly, I was ready to support this release but I'm not that excited for it anymore since Aksys are releasing much more interesting titles than Amnesia. Although Amnesia will probably sell better.

Can't say I'm pleased about a LE without a actual PSN code (and I'm not interested in a steam code) but I still want it for that body pillow.

Any chance that IF might partner up with NISA to make a physical run like what happen with Ar nosurge Plus?

I just don't see how IF can't do a limited physical run while Aksys is releasing both Code:Realize and Norn9 physically :/

Different companies for once. IF only opened last year was it? Aksys has been more established with bigger sellers.

Of course, maybe their parent company simple said "no" for whatever reason. Aksys... doesn't really have a parent company.
