After seeing grenade launchers I can almost guarantee that there will be some type of blinding effect.

What's wrong with the grenade launchers? They were in the original games. They don't really seem out of place.

From what i have seen, grenade launchers have unlimited uses but are on a 15 sec cooldown. I can see people spamming this thing non-stop. DICE needs to either limit the usage or greatly increase the cooldown.
Skill-less, noob weapons. I know Battlefront has had them before but only a few classes had them so it wasn't bad at all. Now we have create a class...

Haha. I still don't see anything wrong with them and think they fit in fine. As far as create a class and not requiring skill I wasn't exactly expecting a hyper competitive game like Counter Strike, but just a fun little game to run around and shoot blasters in. Quite like the originals.

This game is clearly going to be a very casual friendly, pick up and play game. If you're looking for a focused competitive shooter, this ain't it.

Don't grenade launchers have a place against vehicles? Try taking down those walkers with blasters takes awhile. You haven't even played it yet?
That what rockets are for. At least you have to aim to get a kill with those.

The game isnt even in beta yet but can we keep the insufferable tryhard attitudes in lobbies where they can be promptly muted when the perpetrator inevitably starts the type of trash talking online gaming is so notorious for? Many thanks.
Reserve judgement till launch I'm sure things will be balanced.
I don't like it much either. Really hope it's placeholder and that both factions will have their own HUD look.
It's grown on me a bit. I still think it needs improvement. It's trying to use the Star Wars fonts and designs but it makes it look silly and messy.
It's even stranger seeing how nice and clean the main menu is. That guy needs to do a UI pass.

I tried, same result, a friend over battlelog who lives in San Francisco has the same problem.
There's people from everywhere posting on the forums about a "Not conected" error also.
It better be placeholder. Else I'm turning that relic from the 80s off.

Some of the sound effects sounds like they were pulled straight out of Battlefield. The "bullet whizzing past your head" noise specifically.
I wonder if some of them are just placeholders?
Yeah, that's the worst part. I also think the items would be better somewhere else on screen.
