Right now, while listening, I feel Jim could've had a bit more restraint and been less condescending, but oh my god this guy's arguments have been terrible with his accusations completely uninformed. It must've been hard.

Jim, I love you, but you were very condescending to this guy. Your intelligence and eloquence is so far above this guy's, that it was very difficult to listen to. I just felt absurdly sorry for the guy, almost like he was a 5-year old facing Mike Tyson.
It's hard to listen to someone whose every word is laced with defensiveness. The way he inflects everything he says in such an accusatory tone is maddening.

Oh yeah, I don't disagree. He totally brought it on himself, but the dude was nowhere near Jim's level intellectually. Jim genuinely tried to explain his views and respond to the guy's complaints, but there were occasions when Jim was just toying with him, which I found a little uncomfortable to listen to.

He basically said that Jim's critique/review of the game should have been "Hey this is the Slaughtering Grounds, yada yada yada, it's got some bugs report them maybe he'll fix them".
Pretty much, the guy is demanding for Jim to do objective reviews.

Nothing good will come from this. I just casually listened for 30 minutes and it's just two antagonistic people being antagonistic.
I'm not saying Jim is necessarily wrong about most of these issues, but it just sounds like a forum argument that gets nowhere.

aaand finished hearing it. cringe all the way through. basically what others have said. The dev cannot understand what criticism is, and thinks that because he's new in the business, he doesn't deserve negative reactions to his games.
Throughout the whole video, his only real point is that Jim presented opinions as facts(relating to the forum banning stuff), and that it was a lie, and even when jim said he talked to people and saw posts, the dev just ignored.

DH doesn't understand the definition of and difference between LP, reviews, vlogs, among other things. He's totally hostile, cherry-picking things out of context, trying to twist Jim's words, and Jim's just baffled, trying to make a reasonable argument, and occasionally being wry and/or condescending (which he didn't need to be, but DH didn't need to be a dick either). That's the gist of this if you don't want to/have time to listen.
I feel like the best of this was in the first hour, they seem to be talking mostly in circles now. Still funny.
