Ms and Sony don't have the same certification process or time table either. This was brought up in an earlier patch that took Microsoft longer to get and with other games.. They have a longer process then Sony. The only way these whole logic makes sense is if you ignore logic.

There is nothing convoluted. You are literally just making shit up as a possible excuse.
There is not a single thing you said that can either be confidentially logically deduced or has supporting evidence for it.
And your initial excuse was directed at three separate posters who claimed this as an indicator of patch parity.

Yeah, I was thinking this might be the case too. The patch parity is just BS and nobody will convince me that there is a good reason for it other than not having to deal with one community whining that somebody else got the patch sooner.
Of course there was logic behind it, you just chose to ignore it. It's the biggest patch to date, and not just by a small difference. It's huge. Different platforms have been having different issues, right? The PS4 had the double buffering issue that is not present on the Xbox One and PC, right? This means more time need to test all the new implementations. Huge patch also means more time and more people working on it, and naturally more testing and QA required.
It's clear that you are choosing to see things from a negative perspective, so this is my final comment to you. And just because I am questioning their work ethic and not immediately agreeing with you that the patch parity exists does not mean that I disregard the patch parity matter in the same way you seem to disregard other possibilities.

This patch aint stopping me from playing! I just recently enhanced my Griffin armor and working on Novigrad missions (haven't been to Skellige yet)! Nothings stopping me from playing this beauty!

As a huge Fallout 3/NV fan, I never thought in my wildest dreams that Fallout 4 could not be the GOTY it came out. Witcher 3 is above and beyond what I expected.

So, I ran through a few secondary quests and a contract in Velen, without saving 'n reloading, and decided to try loading a recent checkpoint after a minor mistake, and it seems to be okay now.I really hope this patch fixes the Coronation music glitch. I was hoping I'd be able to skirt by the glitch by not immediately attending the ceremony, and getting to Novigrad without loading up another save I made after it. But, no dice; loaded up a save in Novigrad with no music.
Still, hope the patch fixes this so folks won't have to deal with it anymore.

This is the first time in this whole process I've been disappointed in CDPR. There isn't much reason why their own GOG Galaxy service doesn't have the patch ready to go. Were there issues with the PC patch?
