Damn it, I'm still in act one with the game time counter at 20 days...
In the mean time, they still need to fix all the broken quests.
The game time counter is broken.

I hope we can choose whether to have higher difficulty in NG+ or not. It can be fun playing through the same difficulty again, walking all over enemies that previously were causing problems while enjoying the story.
New game+ usually scales enemies to become challenging again with your end-game character.
i still haven't beat it once ... only level 11 right now.
Felt like i put a lot of time in it too. Trying to visit all the undiscovered locations and get better armor. However i think the best thing i can do is craft some.
guess i gotta be lvl 24 in order to beat the gangs of new york so the smith can get a steady supply of materials. lol
I still need to finish it the first time!
There is nothing substantial enough about the free DLC that would suggest it was cut because of time constraints. Nope, they had plans on releasing 'some' of the paid DLC but decided to remove a few tiny side quests and then add a little more to the paid DLC.
They saw dollar signs.
I'm still going to buy the DLC when it hits. I just don't like having the wool pulled over my eyes.
Thanks for the spoiler, guy.Just in time for me, finally rescued Ciri so I doubt there's that much left in the game. Though I don't know if I want to immediately start playing it again.
This thread proves some people will complain about anything.
It really is amazing. Apologies to CDPR on behalf of GAF for what must surely be a confusing experience reading some of these posts.
NG+ should have shipped with the game, simple as that.
This free DLC that they've got a lot of good press off of has been next to worthless. A different outfit for Ciri? Wow, what a big deal...

Hey look there's another one!
Keep embarrassing yourself.Yup, another one who hasn't fallen for this marketing campaign!
Keep embarrassing yourself.
I'm not embarrassing myself in the slightest.
I sound like a broken record but i hope they remove(or make optional) the "refill with alcohol" mechanic.
Yup, another one who hasn't fallen for this marketing campaign!
Maybe I can go with Yennefer instead of Triss this time. Never really liked her, but I felt bad when i saw her reaction after i rejected her in The Last Wish
I know it sounds like a pain in the ass to collect ingredients everytime you use a potion but i just want it to be like in previous games. Is there a reason why you wouldn't want this? I'm genuinely curious.
I do kind of miss stocking up on and crafting bombs, oils, and potions as I did in Witcher 1 & 2. To some, going through the trouble of preparing all of that over and over would be too much of a pain. To me, allowing a single strong alcoholic beverage to completely restore any of these crafted consumables you've depleted oversimplifies the whole thing a bit.Is there a reason why you wouldn't want this? I'm genuinely curious.
Jesus Christ Hahahaha.Yup, another one who hasn't fallen for this marketing campaign!

Wait, you've seen through it? I hope one day that I too will be as enlightened as you!
Of course it is a marketing campaign. They're a business and trying to sell their game. What do you expect? It could have been retailer specific pre-order bonuses, it could have been random paid DLC. It wasn't, they gave it for free when they could have easily done nothing with it. Who cares what their reasoning is for it? It is something which is more than nothing.
mass effect does thisI never see new game + in western RPGs, it's seems like JRPGs only do that stuff.
Whats there to "fall" for? Of course they are going to promote the fact that they are giving away DLC... thats pretty much the point. This is a relatively unknown company (outside of enthusiasts circles) who is trying to make a name by distancing itself from the rest of the AAA industry who would likely have charged you $3-5 for each pack.
Although, it seems like they get shit regardless, so maybe they are better off just making people buy it?
I'm just waiting for my permadeath mode.
