Playing normal crucible also has a pretty high chance of getting a ~26 light blue armor these days.

He's got a full set of 26 armor. Being 28 means I can't carry him through Weekly 32 tho. That's the main thing right now, any piece will take him to 29 so I can get him Weekly. This is an intense push to try and get him a Horn this weekend

Not for long with the new and improved RNGejus of the Taken King, right? I've really enjoyed my first Gjallarhorn. I know it's a matter of time for the wolfpack rounds to be nerfed, but they do currently make the game feel easier. Zyzomys and I had an easier time with the nightfall when we both used Gjallarhorn on the run today.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try to organize a hard Crota run to celebrate (and get a crux).

There has been no confirmation that S1 Exotics will not be upgradeable.

Not sure why you and others read my comment and thought I was saying that year one exotics weren't going to be upgradable and be taken forward into year two. I totally believe that year one exoctics are coming with us into year two.
It has been said that Xbox gamers get access to Hawkmoon and Monte Carlo. I can't see those two guns being included in the year two exotics for Xbox and then become irrelevent for Playstation users.
