Day one patches/updates are usually released on the day of the release. This essentially gives the developers more time to fix things that went wrong with the first manufacture pressing.

Depends on the publisher though.

I hope so mine hasn't shipped yet, although I wouldn't mine if it was shipped tomorrow. As long as I have the weekend to play it, I am happy.

Just spotted this notice on my ShopTo account regarding MGSV pre-orders. Didn't notice it when I logged in yesterday, so I assume it's sort of new.

they usually send something like this out when cod is lingering on release, iirc they did it for something else i pre-ordered around the time gta was releasing

Just got my email from Rakuten telling me my MGSV preorder from simply games has been dispatched. email arrived at 15:40

Hopefully Sony didn't undership the game, or barely meet orders. The more overshipped it is the quicker it'll tank in price.

Simplygames sent a shipped email for MGSV at 10 this morning, was already paid for so I assume it actually shipped and no just begun processing. 1st class mail.

I'm a call out electrician so hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow and I won't get any callouts to interupt me playing. Sadly I'm a boring responsible adult so won't be ignoring them or skipping them to play instead. Even though I could. The temptation is worse than swinging into the drive-in McDonalds I need pass everytime I get a call out.

Damn right they should ignore it, bank holiday necesitates early shipping. I would hope all retailers ship by Thursday latest.

Possibly, with MKX I couldn't unlock Goro until release.

Depends when they go live in the store. I've gotten stuff to work early before.

What's the status on Shopto's delivery. I know it's first class, but I really hope this send them out early considering it's bank holiday in the UK.

That only applies to orders with recorded delivery, which isn't the free option. I tried to claim on this a while ago and was refused because I had chosen free, first class delivery.

Looking for cheapest Alien: Isolation on PS4 atm.

Is it worth trying to hunt down the Ripley Edition, or just go for the cheapest standard/Nostromo and then buying the missing DLC? Would be nice to have the Ripley Edition for the hell of it, but cheapest possible would be good. Looking around £10 mark, give or take.

Nah, do the console for sure. It looks great and it's a newer model.

CE is totally sold out. Sounds like people in some countries aren't even getting their pre orders.

They tried to take the money for mine on Tuesday. It failed but I've paid it since then, no sign of dispatch yet though.

My friend's copy was dispatched yesterday however, so I'd definitely expect it before Tuesday.

Any good in-store Xbox One bundles around at the moment? My mate is getting one tomorrow finally. He's not bothered about Kinect so anything with some decent game(s) will do!

Then again, I can see it dropping in price at etailers and retailers in a few weeks.

There's holding back and being logical, the Monday bank holiday means nothing will move on that day.

Tesco have told me it'll go out before the end of the week, but they seem to be refusing to answer whether that means Friday or Sunday.
