Those are the people. From what I understand, all of those volunteers only unlock/recruit if you saved them in GZ. This includes Glaz/Palitz (noted on the page).

Does the guide say anything on what needs to have been done on the GZ save file to unlock them? The text next to the asterisk says "suitable save file" but that can mean anything.

It is kind of cool that a game where that was revealed as not a Metal Gear game but as some game that looked like a giant ripoff of MGS with a character that looked like a ripoff of BB actually has you play as a ripoff of BB.

That list has 19

POWs/targets from GZ:
Ground Zeroes - 5
Renegade Threat - 4
Classified Intel - 2
Destroy AA - 4

That's 15 POWs and targets, + Paz, Chico and Kojima extractions make 18 total. Not sure where the final one is coming from.

He said the same thing about the beauty and beast squad and then there was that whole white room thing where they pose seductively and moan while you can take photos...I guess theirs and Quiet's backstories are all tragic and whatever.

But it's par for the course for him and nearly all Japanese games.

Western audiences are obviously turning sour to that kind of perversion these days, but I don't think it's ever going to change. That's not our culture.

Yeah... she left and now I can't use her as a buddy anymore. I redid the mission cloaked in silence hoping to get her but she's gone.

One of the missions, C2W I think? I think you have to start it while in Afghan and then go to the intel spot and he should be nearby.

What about the operation n part on the cassette? Also, in the beginning of the game, the game tells you its outer heaven there.

I think one of the other cassette tapes implied that Venom was also hypnotized somehow in his coma to believe he's Big Boss, so his reaction (punching the mirror) would make sense if Big Boss sprung the news at Operation Intrude N313.

That would fucking suck for Venom and be a massive dick move on Big Boss's part though, as he would have been like "You're not really Big Boss, but you are your own man and are really Big Boss. Also, head's up; I'm sending someone besides Gray Fox to deal with you, so heads up man."
