It shouldn't have even been a question. Looking at the episodes nominated, I'm just super confused how Game of Thrones won that one. The Knick and Homeland both had better directed episodes. I would have selected a different episode if I was submitting something for Homeland's 4th season, but any episode of The Knick is head and shoulders in terms of directing.
