So I figured out why Sony had locked me out of my account (they said it was too many bad purchase attempts), because it happened to me again. When I clicked the Purchase button in Safari, this blank popup box kept appearing, disappearing, and reappearing, until finally it popped up a message saying there'd been a transaction error. Actually what happened was every time the popup appeared it made a corrupted purchase attempt until reaching the maximum and locking me out.

So TL;DR, there's a serious bug in Safari (OS X) that makes purchasing through the online store impossible, and will freeze your account if you try. :/

Have we heard any more about Bastion for Vita? I've been interested in the title since it launched on the App Store, but I really dislike playing action-y games withoit buttons, so I was really happy to hear it was coming to Vita.

I'm not so worried about the two games canceling their releases on Vita. It has happened before and for some reason now it's like more important because of those yoshida comments regarding Vita 2. Yeah sure gravity rush 2 is not coming but what still comming are all the other games that were announced like Mighty n9 and igavania , those vanillaware games, danganronpa games, tecmo koei games, namco bandai games , nisa games even square enix games, So I believe there is plenty to look after yet.

I'm actually only worried about skullgirls not comming or canceling on Vita. That would make me a sad boy.

Edit: bastion still comming as far as I know.

JP copies of Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival have english voice and text. I'd import it if the rest of the year wasn't so stacked, but I guess I'll just wait for NISA's announcement (hurry up!!)

Does any GAFfer happen to フラゲ Yoru no Nai Kuni on Vita? Apparently, you can adjust the camera level. Just how near are we talking about?

Because honestly, that video is very jarring. I mean... "what is this? game for ants?"

I feel like I should cancel my collection box pre-order. >_>

Its been sitting here on my desk most of the day, though doubt Ill have time to get to it tonight. The PS4 LE one arrives tomorrow

Guys P4D is so goddamn addicting. Not even a fan of rhythm games but this one clicked so hard. On my way to school thinking about playing the game tonight lol.

Thanks for the heads up Zero :D! Will join the VitaGaf Community whenever I get a PS4 this fall/next year :).

Does the Vita update do anything major? Or is just a 'stable' update? Will try it myself in a minute :).

Added everyone who've asked for an invite so far. I went down the Google Docs really quickly and sent a couple of invites to the people I already have added, but I probably missed a few a lot.

Nothing major that I can tell. It's probably to fix up remote play and to patch up the email exploit.

But yes all the vita update is for is to patch the exploit .

Super Meat Boy is cool. Rest not so much.

Kung Fu Rabbit is a Super Meat Boy clone so it is weird that is being given away in the same month.

Didn't like Kickbeat.

Broken Age looks too serious for the adventure games I play and looks unfun.

I'll give Unmechanical Extended a try but I don't need to play another puzzle game.

Chariot looks like a frustrating mess.

Quick (and possibly stupid) question: Does having Sony delete your PSN account automatically remove you from friends lists and such?

Someone at Sony would probably give you a better answer, but assuming the account system is set up like a typical database, it should since all the data associated with that account is gone.

What do you mean by 'serious'? Broken Age is as humorous as any PnC game LucasArts made throughout the 80s and 90s.
It's pretty much a typical PnC game, if you enjoy those, you'll enjoy it.

Regardless, how many people do you even think know of Kung Fu Rabbit on Sony systems?
Like really, this may be the first time a lot of people even knew this game existed on Sony systems lol.

That was my first thought, but the FAQ suggests all Sony does is just place a permanent ban on the account.

I just read that FAQ, well that is certainly one way to do things haha. Sony really needs to hire a competent database administrator one of these days to fix their mess.

It sounds like the account would still show up on other people's friends list since the account still technically exists. Could you go back on the account and manually remove all the friends on it?

...I, uh, don't know why I didn't think of that, haha. The reason I asked is that I've pretty much given up hope on Sony implementing a name change system any time soon (this was almost a year ago now) and since I haven't really used my current primary account in yonks, I'm not against the idea of starting anew -- but there'd be no point in having the account "deleted" if it's just going to linger around in a ghost-like state.

Edit: What's particularly annoying about the inability to change your name at all is that those with "offensive" names can select a new one, albeit at the cost of essentially rebooting the account. Obviously that's not ideal, but even so I'd be perfectly fine with that option.

Unless the account has nothing paid associated with it, probably the best to keep it around just in case. If you're only on PS4, you can use the "Real Name" feature to sort of change the username (create a fake Facebook account with the username you want and then connect it to the PS4, you'll have to send real name requests to all your friends though.
