Yep, and even on the rare occasion the page comes up it refuses to load the login window for me

Thanks. When putting in your email and password and hitting Enter, is it normal that nothing happens? Will it keep trying to get in if I keep pressing Enter?
Yes. It helps if you know exactly when the HTTP request fails with a 5xx error code. You can use Fiddler2 or Fiddler4 to see all HTTP requests and act accordingly (i.e. refresh/reclick).

It was weird, I was just able to access my treasure history and redownload the Xenoblade soundtrack - you know, the one that "expired" in September 2011.
I bought the game well after that date and could download it. I think they forgot all about it.
Kind of forgot about all those wallpapers and themes I had from the VIP days. They were rather naff so I didn't really think of downloading them to keep.

Looking at fiddler, it looks like my addtocart went through, but when I load my basket it is still empty. Can this happen? What can I do to add stuff to the basket, then?

It's finally working on my end (UK). Managed to grab NES Remix 2 and all the 6 useless 50 stars stuff since I had exactly 5900 stars.
Shame about not being able to link your CN account to the Nintendo Network one, I tried to do it last week but I couldn´t remember my password and I forgot about it until today. I really wanted to have a free Hanafuda theme

In retrospect:
It is ridiculous how the system expired 3000 points a few months before the end. The the system of expiring stars was demotivating and punishing. They where after-all getting survey feedback from us; but why even bother when you won't be able to gather a significant amount to buy something truly amazing (e.g Link on Epona).
A large portion of the surveys questions could had been saved in our profile. Which would significantly cut the length of the each survey etc. (After 20 surveys; How old are you? Are you male/female? etc. Really!? Nintendo Really!?). A few questions sounded like they were basically repeats asking for the same thing but in a different manner. The process of filling in the survey was extremely tedious.
