I know there's at least a good let's play on it, and maybe there'll be some people streaming FC in a bit too. I feel what you mean about it being too late considering that you probably played it on the PSP, but there's a few options that you can at least dip into and see if it triggers anything that makes you want to play again.

EDIT: I normally don't like to change my avatar because I feel like my it helps make me easier to spot, but I just have to claim this one in celebration.

I was hoping for a bit more time in order to replay FC prior to SC's release, but there's no way I'll have the time to clear it within a week. I'll just read a synopsis to get up to date and read up on how to transfer my PSP save to the Vita.

It was supposed to be a subtle poke at both the cliffhanger ending of FC and the it'll release when "pig's fly" / I'll believe it when I see it in my steam Library. Clearly didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

And then maybe we can have someone confirm if those changes were/weren't backported to PC. Is it like the first game, where Monster Book and additional character portraits were added to the PSP version or does it go deeper?

I don't remember what all the differences were, but the one quoted was the main one IIRC. And I'm about 99% sure Sara or someone from XSEED confirmed that all of the PSP additions were going to be backported to the PC version. Can't find it at the moment though.
