Oh. You can't use the toys on PC? That sucks.

Yeah you can't in the official way of putting them on the base.

Which of the 3 games should I get considering the price?

I've heard nothing but good things for Dragonfall (might pick that up myself actually). Regular shadowrun on the other hand most agree isn't bad, but Dragonfall is where it gets good. I don't think you need to play the first to enjoy Dragonfall.

Instructions for participants:
I am giving away a Steam key. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below containing the game you want to enter for. Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.

ModBot Basics:
- I really appreciate thank you messages, but please send them to me (gaiadyne, not ModBot!) via PM instead of in thread.
- Do not trade keys you win off-site to enrich yourself. Don't try to claim games you have no interest in collecting or playing. Don't claim games to give them to friends off-site.
- If the key is already taken you will not receive a reply. Replies may take a minute or two.

Obsidian, pls. As a responsible developer, stop making me this hard in public. It'll be a risk to others soon!

Dragonfall is amazing. Get that, then if you love it, you can move onto Hong Kong. Returns is average at best, and if you don't play it first, then you'll have a terrible experience going to it after Dragonfall.. but I don't really think there's any need to play Returns.

Dragonfall is one of the best SRPGs in recent years and by all accounts Hong Kong is on the same level(only played a few hours of it myself) so either of those is a great choice. Given Dragonfall is so cheap I'd spring for it first and see if you enjoy the tone and gameplay and pick up Hong Kong at the end of the sale if it interests you.

The original game is fun but the encounters are a bit more simple and the writing a tad bland in comparison to the other two. No reason not to just skip to Dragonfall.

What the fuck is up with only one person on my friend's list(252) owning the Pathologic re-release. One of the most unique game worlds ever created :/

Thanks, the other folks too, seems logical! :)

Funny thing is, the servers seemed fine at the beginning of the sale. I guess everyone is downloading their games now.

If they are running the shop and the downloads on the same servers I have no questions left about valve. Monkeys as admins would be confirmed. Or dogs.

A little question, for those who don't own RE: Revelations 2 first episode, how much discount shows up for you (Complete Season)? Mine is at 54% for the CS, but you are supposed to get an extra discount if you own the first episode.

I'm coming pretty close to buying it, but I'm divided since some of the other stuff I wanted didn't get discounted as heavily as I had hoped. Someone's not gonna make the cut!

I know you weren't asking this of owners, but I have Ep 1 and the complete season is 60% off for me.

I know you guys don't know this, but there's some INSANELY good prices on some more niche horror games. Like, there's so many REALLY good horror games in the niche that are $1.49-$4.99 right now, it's ridiculous. Typing up a modified horror suggestion post.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
While browsing game pages, I already had some instances of slow loading. ES servers must be getting significant traffic.

The servers are hanging in there, but yeah they've been slammed since the sale started

Yeah, I think we'll need some highlights since the list view is so messy and the store's really struggling.

Everyone should just buy DreadOut though. Trust us.

The BlazBlue games are also enjoying halloween sales, confirming that true horror is in realising that ArcSys will only release their latest BB and GG games several years after they've been played and exhausted and superseded on consoles because they hate Steam, PC gaming and you in particular.

Betrayer's also available for £1.74. Very enjoyable game, great spooky atmosphere.

On a horror-related note, I'd recommend the TV series From Dusk Till Dawn (2014). It's schlock, and doesn't reach the heights of Banshee, but it's watchable. And the story takes some serious liberties with the mythology, so even though the first season follows the structure of the original film, shit's different and weird enough.

And in the vein of animu gaf
there's a 500+ year-old snake who looks like a 20-something hottie.
