So as someone who isn't that much into Transformers (sorry!). How is the newest game?.

How does it compare to other platinum games in terms of pure gameplay?. Im tempted but from the videos I've seen it looks like it lacks a bit of the production values and crazy setpieces of other Platinum games

Is it worth it if the fanservice aspect of it doesn't affect me?

Can I play Axiom Verge on Vita?

I don't have a PS4, just a PS3 if that matters.

I noticed someone had it listed as a crossbuy?

It will be cross-buy but the Vita version isn't out yet. I don't think he has a definite release date sorted yet other than 'fairly soon'.

Play Asia. But there's a slight markup.

You can also use Amazon but you'll need either a US card or a paypal acct. PlayAsua lets you use whatever payment metro you want.

Thanks dude. Don't mind paying up a little if it's hassle free.

Only Flash deals I'm interested is the J-Stars Victory Vs+ and The Order 1866. Guess I'll combine those with some games I want for the co-op Sale. I'll get it this weekend.

Is wolfenstein the old blood a complete separate entity from the new order? no save cross-over or anything?

I have the EU version of new order already.

Devastation is short but offers a lot of replayability, if you like Platinums tyle action games you'll like this one.
There are already owners who put upwards of 30 hours into it by now :p

Oh and it has a slick art gallery too that you unlock after beating the game.

I've never played Thief, but I want to answer anyway so I'll say no. :p

Dishonored is a good action/stealth game with deceptively deep gameplay if you go looking for it. There are some clunky elements but you'll probably overlook them if you find yourself engaged with the core gameplay. Haven't played it on PS4 though.

Also, lots of teleporting.

Is anyone else having problems purchasing items from the PlayStation Store? I keep getting an error whenever I try to checkout.

amazon.com ship internationally now if you want some good US deals and live outside of the US. It used to force to my countries amazon unless I was buying digital goods using a US home address.

apparently does free shipping to if you spend 35 dollars or more.

Not PSN, but Amazon has a digital code for Dragon Quest Heroes on PS4 for $19.80. Coupon code L1L2R1R2 for an extra 10% off.

What?!!?!? I just spent $60 on that not two weeks ago. -_-

Seriously though this a fantastic deal on a really really good hack and slash style game. If any of you even remotely consider yourselves fans of Dragon Quest buy this. You will not regret it at all.

Aw. That is disappointing.

Cool, thanks. :)

It's not an extremely shitty port. Maybe a disapointing one, as it's just a pretty straight forward upressed game at 30fps, not much added besides that. But if you never played Dishonored it's a good place to start.

Check out the Digital Foundry analysis.

I see that GTAV is still overpriced

Eh, can you blame them? That game sells like Minecraft. There's going to be no need to give it significant discounts for some time yet.

List, for those who can't see~

Thank you so much. This is what I've been looking for. Think I'm going to get:

Wolfenstein: The New Order $9.00 (£6)
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood for $6.60 (£4.40)
Debating The Witcher 3 for $25 (£16.60)

And then there's the extra 10% off as well. Does anyone know how long all this runs for?

Think I'm gonna get TW3. I beat the game then traded it in awhile back. There have been many patches and changes since (I beat it before new game plus even came out), as well as the expansion and another one coming soon. Why not.

Guys, should I buy TO1866 for the visuals?

And should I use the coupon or do you think there will be another sale and I should save it to than?

Not sure if there's additional discount for PS+ members but I know that there's a code for an additional 10% off on PSN.

Correct me if I'm wrong GAF.
Already know about that. You're correct.
Was just wondering if plus members get a further discount or not.

Nonono. Its an awful game, simply not worth your time.

Yea but for 8$ I think pretty visuals are worth it.

But I don't get it, this is Sony's Black Friday sale?

Pretty disappointing if so, expected discount on plus and wanted to buy UD :((

How do you get the 10% discount code everyone is talking about?

EDIT: Lol nevermind, I just need to open my eyes.

Is the Witcher worth buying considering my tastes?

I hate open world games, since they are mostly just fetch quests, and following map points. However SOTC was great open world game (no nonsense fluff), Dark Souls (great design, challenging traversal). Is the Witcher traversal just mindless task of going from point A to point B, with cut scenes, or is there more to it?

At its heart it's an open world game with missions that take you throughout the various regions.

The game definitely has fetch quests and open world POI map overload.

Two things: All those map indicators can be turned off so you only see what you discovered on your own.

They try (and succeed the majority of the time) to contextualize the fetch quests and the more basic missions.
As you are are a hired beast slayer you don't feel the game<->story disconnect when accepting missions from various NPCs because you're not the most important person in the game. You have an important role but you're not the savior.

Traversal is not as challenging as Dragon's Dogma but more interesting than Bethesda games. (No unlimited fast travel from every spot.)

Thanks to this thread and that other thread, I just bought 3 PS4 games for less than $40.

Tomb Raider: DE
Transformers Devastation
Wolfenstein: The New Order

And I don't even own a PS4 yet, haha.

That's already in addition to that Plants vs Zombies game I got from that EA giveaway a long time ago.

How does Wolfenstein: The New Order compare to The Old Blood?

Well, it's longer and the story is rather serious instead of the more tongue in cheek approach you get with zombie spin-offs.
If you liked TOB don't even think twice. It's just as fun and full of memorable moments.

I've been trying to add wallet funds for like 2 days now, and always get the "server maintenance" page. Is it just me?

Also, how is the PS3 port of Transformers Devastation? I don't have PS4/X1, but could get it on PC if it's a huge difference (I have an ok gaming laptop: i7, 660M).

So tempted by Blood Bowl 2, but I'm still annoyed by their pre-order teams drama and adding a freemium store.

Can anybody recommend the game too somebody who enjoyed the board game and liked the games on PC, even if they annoyed me after releasing 4 dang versions of the same game!

EDIT - Annnd bought anyway. I've got the funds and I like Blood Bowl so woot.
