Interesting.
So it's looking likely that the PS4 will get roughly a week at least to the price point all by itself,
You are a smart dude.

Just out of curiosity, what's the nature of your link to MS? Retail sales, know someone in corporate MS, yourself being an employee, other...?Again, there is a counter. As I said its not in the same date frame its later. You may not hear anything about it for several days.

Several days? Are they waiting for everyone to be done with xmas gifts?
Zhuge on twitter said yesterday that Xbox One deals should start next week
Zhuge on twitter said yesterday that Xbox One deals should start next week, so either Microsoft is going to go HAM in the final shopping week before Christmas, or they are going to have a very good month long deal.
I'm going to go with the former. Make a huge impression.
You must be referring to post-season MAU. Pre-season MAU was quite the wrathful fellow.Dude, stop being a dick. This is not how you talk to people. MAU is a forgiving god but you are pissing him off.
I don't know if this was posted here, but PS4 has jumped on the yearly Amazon chart. Uncharted Collection bundle has now sold more than retail copy of Halo 5.We of course don't know the digital sales of UC bundle
Sorry. It's just frustrating when you take the time to try to help someone, and all you get back is, "Agree to disagree; two times two is clearly twelve." >< I'll drop it.Dude, stop being a dick. This is not how you talk to people. MAU is a forgiving god but you are pissing him off.
*checks thread title* US only, yes? Am I correct in assuming digital share tends to skew higher in the US than it does worldwide? Was the digital share in the US for games like H5 and TKK much higher than we typically see in the US?In old news, a little over 2/3 of H5 total Oct sales were Packaged (excluding bundles).
House was talking about their worldwide revenues, not their US hardware sales.Bigger Black Friday of PlayStation isn't that much as can seem.
All we know is that PS4 sold > 525,000 during BF week, which is the bigger Black Friday of PS3.
At the PS2 era, November and Black Friday weren't that huge. Indeed, 360 best November is way bigger than PS2 best November which is 1,318,000.
Imo, bigger BF of PlayStation history was super expected.
That said... of course still a good result.
Anyway, like i said, PS2 best November is 1.32 million. We can expect PS4 to sell similar to this.

From the article:
Is that true at this point? I thought that PS4 was still behind Wii by a couple of million units as far as the "fastest selling console" title goes. Either way, this is an incredible turnaround from last gen in regard to control of total market share.
Sure, why not?Why don't you just ask for his employee ID number while you're at it?
Now, imagine if Uncharted Nathan Drake collection will outsell Halo 5 lifetime in the US... I mean, lol.
And i remember when some peoplesaid Halo 5 would outsell Uncharted 4 by 2:1 LT in the US, hahahahaha.including me
<3Yes.
So only the first parties know the digital shares yet this is the highest digital share we've seen? =/I don't know. Only people that do right now are the first parties.
"Much" is an unspecific term, so I don't know how you define that word. These two titles have the highest month 1 digital share in the US yet seen.
I'm not sure how impressed I can even be by whatever MS decides to do as a "counter" since the only way to make it impressive as opposed to just bringing it to par with the PS4 deals would basically mean they're doing nothing but selling at or below cost and giving up all margin just to save face in the userbase game - something that is already irrevocably lost on a worldwide scale anyway, but I guess saving face in the US market is the last thing they can hope for.
Uncharted Collection might work better than Master Chief Collection to excite people for the new episode.
More seriously, I hope thatGeorgeMulcairn will be with us this upcoming Thursday for the results.
And there it is. Arrogant Sony is back.Apparently, Sony had the best Black Friday in company's history.
"We've just seen the most successful Black Friday in the company's history," he said in an interview with the Financial Times. "We are now trying to benchmark against the success of the PlayStation 2 - or exceed it if possible."
Yeah, I didn't see that coming.

Sorry, not to be difficult, but if you don't know whether the US digital share tends to be higher than the 20% WW average, what are you comparing the H5 and TKK results to?
Sad it is against Halo 5 that sold terrible for the franchise... needs more evidences UC bundle is doing great.I don't know if this was posted here, but PS4 has jumped on the yearly Amazon chart. The US market. In the US. For titles in the US. US.

Then do yourself a favor, and call your English teacher and ask them how commas work. Or maybe try your mom, after your English teacher reveals themselves to be another Sony sympathizer.
We know the worldwide average is 20% digital.
Do the numbers we see for the US tend to be higher than that?
And i remember when some peoplesaid Halo 5 would outsell Uncharted 4 by 2:1 LT in the US, hahahahaha.including me
Well, EA said 20%, but they didn't give a time period, I suppose. Can you say what time period that would cover, if we're fairly sure Month 1 wouldn't look like that? For month 1? We do? No, we don't know that. Where would we know that from?
That's surprising. Does it tend to increase over time? Seems odd that digital sales would be huge on Day 1, then drop as the week progresses, and continue dropping down to an average below 20% for the first month, if the averages then increase to 20% over the lifetime(?) of the title worldwide. Or am I just wrong about digital share higher being higher in the US? If US averages below 20% in the first month, then I don't see how EA are getting back to 20% worldwide by the time they publish their quarterlies. =/The average month 1 digital share in the US is slightly less than 20%.
The old Halo would do it, maybe even more than 2:1.
Halo 5 launch sales was absolutely unexpected, the drop is too big.
Is there a possibility that it won't even be in the top 10 for this month (not including bundles of course)?

Yeah. I could understand if it had come out the first week of October it not charting in November. But it didn't and it only had 1 week of tracking. It would've had to completely crater its second week and move no more copies the rest of November and Black Friday for it not to chartLast year the cut was ~660k, so it has, but if I had to guess I would say that Halo 5 will be in top 10 because october sales was just 5 days.

I also think that the 600k mark would probably be lower this year. Last year you had smash Pokemon, farcy halo dragon age GTA all releasing among the other usual suspects. Like what other game this year is gonna break 600k? Need for speed, minecraft, Disney infinity?Looking to little US, If I got my numbers right, Halo 5 in the UK sold 150k in the launch week, and in the next 4 weeks sold ~102k, so around a 32% drop MOM. If the US were to see a similar drop, Halo 5 would sell ~636k. It could make it in the top 10, but could also just miss it.
