This show is better than most of AHS,
sadly :(

fun characters, and charming dialogue, fun premise, if it were a bit more subtle it would be genuinely good.

The Most Dangerous Yes Man
I think I have to look at this show like I look at Lost, great character stuff with unsatisfying answers to the big mysteries.
I don't feel like that at all.

Everything was deliberate in this show, and I don't really see anything that was left too mysteriously untouched, personally.

Oh man, what a send off! So glad that Chad was spared.
Hester
was deliciously evil in this episode. I was shocked by the length she went to frame the other Chanels. Calculated down to the T!

Number 5's rant about Tinder being broken had me rolling! No swipes for you, girl!

I feel the Chanels actually got a happy ending, and their arrangements were a good fit for their sociopathic tendencies.

Totally buying this season to rewatch the past episodes, and see all the scenes on which Red Devil was offing certain peeps. Good-bye, Scream Queens <3

Well why kill Gigi is one of them and who (I'm guessing Hester).

But overall I don't mean unanswered questions as much as I mean the answers were not fully satisfying,

Hester being the killer was the safest route they could have gone. I mean fundamentally that;s why as much as I played with other ideas I pretty much always knew it was Hester. I think that's an issue too because it makes guessing all that more disappointing because in the end it's always the obvious one.

Gigi pissed off Boone by wearing a costume totally different from theirs when attacking Dean Munsch. Took it as a sign of disrespect to their 'cause'. Pete was the one who stabbed Boone while with him and Gigi. Hence the reason why he wouldn't take the mask off during the Thanksgiving episode, as it was suppose to be Hester with them.

I'm so glad that Ryan Murphy didn't take the sex change route that some people were hypothesizing who the second killer was. That's a little too farfetched, and plus gross if it was indeed Pete because he would be wanting to pork his half sister...lol.

Pete confessed to only killing one of those twins and Boone, no mention of Gigi and Hester confessed to killing only Pete, and Boone was already dead, so again who the fuck killed Gigi? And why?

Also it's funny for a show that promised a death per episode the finale was super bloodless (honestly did anyone actually die other than the cut to black maybe kill of Chanel Oberlin?)

Well, they showed a death they hadn't shown before: the first Red Devil (the completely innocent actual school mascot).

I believe Hester killed Ms. Bean as well to set up Chanel #1. Gigi was probably offed by Hester because she found out about Gigi's plan to kill her brother for going rogue and kidnapping Zaday. Pete took the matter into his own hands, killing Boone before Gigi got Hester to do it, to stop the killings because they were getting out of hand. At least that's how I see it.

I guess but it still remains officially unanswered as neither confessed to killing Gigi and that kill doesn’t make a whole lot of sense without explanation.

Ohh right. That counts. Still way too much of the main cast

Also remember that Hester was second to last to exit the kitchen before Chanel #5 came through with the platter complaining that it felt very light for a turkey. Hester must of switched the turkey with Gigi's head. So she at least knew about Gigi being dead, and Pete looked genuinely frightened and shocked upon the sight of her head.

Got the ending mostly right. I listed Grace before Pete though because I knew Pete wasn't the primary killer, although I predicted one of his kills correctly. I was thinking Grace would be the "screwball" option if they wanted to be unpredictable.

Hester almost certainly killed Gigi since Pete didn't explicitly mention it, and it was improbable given the timings of the Thanksgiving episode (I had a long post in spoilers a few pages back about that). Her motive isn't the clearest- probably just a psychopath, she didn't sound like she had much affection for Gigi when she was discussing her past. I thought the whole stabbing herself in her eye thing was pretty genius, especially since it hinged on #5 being the most convincing red devil of the other Chanels. But the rest of her "the Chanels are the killers" narrative fell apart pretty quickly. But it seems she accounted for the fact she just had to make it semi-plausible so it would go to trial, and Chanel would screw up any chance of them getting a not guilty

I was kind of expecting much more of a bloodbath though.

I liked the finale. All of it wrapped up nicely I just wish there was more Chad. Him hanging out with Boone are my favorite scenes

Called it :D

Looking back, I'm surprised no one noticed Hester telling Grace and Zayday how that kindness "will save your life someday".

I like how they explained Boone pretending to be gay for no reason. "He's just a moron!"

Was that an old scene? I can't remember that far back apparently.

Anyway, didn't like the last episode, but the one before was definitely the best of the season.

The theme of season 2 is still being discussed. Summer Camp is not official by any means. Thank you all who watched season 1!

Well, wherever you go with it, I hope you're able to resist the tired old horror trope of killing off a survivor of the previous part right at the beginning. It's not a surprise or a twist of any kind, it's just boring - like Grace.

Wait, on second thought, could you kill off Grace at the start of season 2? I doubt anyone here would mind that.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
If Fox renews this, I hope Season 2 is the same cast but playing different characters. I like a lot of the characters here well enough, but it would be cool to see them work with a clean slate.

I spent a good portion of the season on the fence about this show, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It definitely isn't for everyone, but I grew to love the hyper reality this world played with for satire. And Chad & Denise were breakout characters, I think I enjoyed every scene with them in it.

I'm hoping for Season 2. Even if Fox moved it to FX and paired it with American Horror Story or something crazy like that, I'd follow this show to keep up with it.

One thing I'm upset with is why didn't they DNA test the girls? They knew the other Devil was Boone/Grace's sister. That would have solved everything.

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
Final 2 episodes were great, especially the first hour (ordering an asp online to kill yourself like Cleopatra LMAOOO) but I am so MAD at that final cutaway.

Soured the whole season for me. All I wanted was for Chanel Oberlin to survive even if she was locked up.

It could be a dream sequence, or that she is genuinely crazy. Easy to explain away should they do a season 2.

it wasn't supposed to be a limited series/anthology, but who knows? things may change w/ production cuts in a desperate bid for a 2nd season... ratings were pretty abysmal for such a stylised, wom/soc media driven show.

FOX adores Ryan Murphy tho, so we can be pretty certain there will be a S2.

The Chanels, Chad Radwell, Dean Munsch, and Denise were the reasons I kept tuning in. Without them I'm not sure I would have made it the whole way through. Grace, Zayday, Pete, and Hester (less so) were pretty forgettable.

I just found out Chanel #3 is Carrie Fisher's daughter.

Same here, it never clicked.
Now the ear muffs and the hair style during court are so amazingly brilliant that I feel like an idiot for not knowing their connection.

I loved that the 2 best characters had a romance. Chad and Neicy Nash's break up was my favorite part. Finale neeed more Chad.

The finale worked when it went for comedy. Chad's press conference, the court room scene, Hester and the Dean's mutual destruction understanding, etc.

Gigi was probably offed by Hester because she found out about Gigi's plan to kill her brother for going rogue and kidnapping Zaday.

Gigi specifically coached the other RD to kill Boone for kidnapping Zayday.

Looking back, I'm surprised no one noticed Hester telling Grace and Zayday how that kindness "will save your life someday".

I did, but it was to point out how dumb I felt it was for her to say, only to ignore it when they were plotting to kill Dean Munch. Of course, Dean was already a killer and the final episode showed she's not above compromising her plan/morals when it helps her (letting Dean get off scott free of murder and setting this all into motion)

Guys, guys, I know how season two has to be set up!

The location: The Chad Radwell Maximum Security Summer Camp for Criminally Insane Hot Chicks Cuz I Mean Just Because They're Crazy Doesn't Mean They Shouldn't Get to go Skinny Dipping in a Lake Every Now and Then, which he founded with the money from the fund he set up in the last episode.

Grace, Zayday, and Hester are all working there because they need summer jobs. And of course the Chanels are there, too, though whether as counselors or campers, I don't think that's important yet.

Some random redshirt gets offed to let the other characters know there's a killer around again. But Grace isn't worried. She manages to quickly track down and confront the killer, confident that her experience with the Red Devil will lead to her survival. She gets stabbity-stabbed and dies. The audience rejoices.

Pretty disappointing finale for me. I don't know, I guess I was expecting something more. Also, while I do have a suspension of disbelief when it comes to these show/movies (as you must to enjoy it), it real annoyed me that they specifically had Pete talk about how he identified the sister by testing DNA samples only to have Grace completely ignore that idea later on. Anyways, the show started out very strong and went downhill from there (still worth watching in my opinion). Chad is amazing.

The part of the finale where grace calls Pete out on quoting Nietzsche and saying your already a murderer, don't be a douche (or something along those lines) was hilarious. Clear highlight of the finale to me.

Hopefully there will be a season two.

special needs, sexual needs
Billie Lourd was my favorite this season. Season 2 should follow Dirty Helen lol

Hester's 666 Seasame Street address got a good laugh from me.

Omg this show was everything I wanted it to be. I rarely laugh that much during TV shows. If there's a second season, the Chanels better be in it. It wouldn't be "Scream Queens" without them.

The theme of season 2 is still being discussed. Summer Camp is not official by any means. Thank you all who watched season 1!

Do you know yet if there's a second season coming 100%?

Death Prophet
Didn't like that the Chanel's went to the asylum and loved it. Just doesn't feel like Chanel (I could see #5 though). #3 doesn't even fit in with the other Chanels didn't feel right for her to be on trial. The worst thing she did was send Pred Lez to the basement. Also the last shot was dumb, but everything else I loved.

Just finished watching the finale. Overall, I'm happy with how the show played out. Chanel ordering a snake on AliExpress was my favorite moment. Unexpected and hilarious.

I really hope we get a second season. If we do, I'd like it if some of the actors returned.

lmao @ Channel #5's parents being paid off by Hester to say that their daughter is a serial killer.

EDIT: I really thought these last two episodes were great - easily two of the funniest episodes of the season.

I thought the whole thing came to a satisfying conclusion. I loved seeing Hester's plan play out perfectly and I think it's hilarious that she managed to get away with it while the Channels were the ones who paid the price despite the fact that they didn't actually kill anyone (besides Channel accidentally killing the maid ofc). The main thing that bugged me was that the final two (or three) episodes were relatively bloodless for a show centered around serial killers, especially since we were promised at least one character death per episode...Still, I had a lot of fun with this. (although I'm not sure if I want a second season. I'm afraid it'd become a parody of itself like Glee did.)
