I want the following...

Halo Reach
Halo Wars
Oblivion
Skyrim
Doom BFG Edition
Dead Island
Left 4 Dead
Bioshock
Duke Nukem 3D
Saints Row
Saints Row 2
GTA 4
Red Dead Redemption

There are others I want but those are the main ones.

I think it's really important we get one from each of the following categories:

Rockstar game like Red Dead Redemption: Show that Rockstar is on board.

Game that's been remastered on XB1 and PS4, like GTAV or Dishonoured: Show everyone that a game being remastered will not be a hurdle to BC.

Dual disc game like Lost Odyssey or Mass Effect 2

Obscure games, like Catherine, or Lollipop Chainsaw

I feel like an idiot to have bought so many games digitally on ps3. Maybe I should go for steam but q lot of the pre 2012 360 games are near pc, right..

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, just turned up on my Xbox One game list. I got it free with games with gold this month.

And I wasn't paying attention and it was on the old BC list. Bahh, my bad. Sorry guys!

Why on earth would a publisher that can earn money on a remaster ever release the old version and potentially killing resales of the remaster?

We don't know if that's really the case. If Rockstar would make RDR bc and release a remaster a couple of months later, we'd still buy that one.

They would never release something that would harm sales a month or two prior to release. Only if it's a sequel and they let people play the original beforehand.

This reasoning will never not make no sense.
Lol, it was a bit of a tongue twister :p

Allowing a game to be included in BC won't take away sales from a remaster. In some cases, it may actually help sales as people see the game running how it did originally versus the shiny new coat of paint a remaster gets.

I see that angle, but a lot of casuals will simply see a game for a really low price and an expensive version with "remaster" slapped on the cover.

You know, publishers just shouldn't release the game in the first place cause it could harm the sales of the potential remaster

No, that just sounds like you don't want to spend money, besides that's what digital foundry is for

If we dont get USF4 theres some unknown forces preventing us from getting it because thats some bullshit.
Capcom wants you to buy Street Fighter 5

Edit: they said Reach and BLOPS1 in December, still waiting

That's not for every title and they have been updating titles that do have issues.
Every BC title I have has some input lag. geometry wars and the gears games are especially latent when compared to their 360 counterparts.

What I'm getting at is that it might be less of a SONY CONSPIRACY thing that that guy was implying and more of just MS simply not comfortable putting it out yet in its current condition

That list should make a lot of people happy.

Mostly the Fable/Reach people, haha.

Which version of Hydro Thunder is that....loved the original.

16 games? I thought they were aiming for about 20.

Between the 2 months, I've got a good serving of variety, even if I still want some fighters, and at least a few Japanese games each time. Hydro Thunder Hurricane is great fun, and I'd be quite hype for Spelunky if I didn't have it duplicated on 2 or 3 generations of Playstation's also by now, which default came with DLC / content this one doesn't have.

It'd be nice if they could make BC a bi-weekly release style thing. I love getting to use it to fill up genres the X1 lacks games in. Where's that Bomberman Live now...

They really need to make a BC store.

They've gone to effort to do this whole thing, why not make easier to purchase the games you want?
