they're coming eventually. They never said exactly when, just that they're coming.

Given that there are some issues with emulation as is, maybe it's for the best that they take their time releasing these games even if we want them real bad.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that Reach runs poorly. It ran like crap on the actual 360 from what I remember so I was kinda expecting this.

The physics in reach literally slow down because the underlying lag is so bad. It's as if the whole simulation is running at .75 normal speed.

So disappointing

It did feel like it was struggling at times, but I hope they're aware of how much worse it does run currently on X1. I wouldn't say it's unplayable in campaign, but it's notably rough and makes me question why they thought it was ready for release. Reach easily fares the worst of all BC titles so far. Please update this, BC people. Would really like 343 to rethink adding this to MCC as DLC, though, and I would gladly pay a reasonable amount for a 60fps version.

That actually makes some sense. You reminded me that Microsoft hasn't yet made the storefront a seamless experience.

I think most of us envision Microsoft going the Valve route someday - having literally thousands of games, old & new, up on their website & XB1 systems during a sale. Especially if Original Xbox gets emulated, as has been discussed internally.

But these are baby steps now. Maybe third-party publishers will support the BC program once its easier to monetize. (i.e. see digital game, buy digital game, download digital game - all in mere seconds.)

Maybe they're holding CoD until more lag fixes are implemented. Speculating. If the CoD games are having the same lag as Gears, it's going to be a shitshow of complaints and criticism, bad press even.

Im really not sure if they will ever able to fix the input lag... CoD games will be very unplayable with this. And who knows of they even got the same fps like on 360. Emulating a 60fps game? ..

I noticed it with gears 1. Well that + 30fps and coming from 60fps UE.

Not much to think about. MS published CC and besides being a great platformer, it must be easier to get up to speed on current emulation owing to its relative simplicity and lack of demanding performance. Black Ops is confirmed, so it could be performance-related and/or tied to awaiting upcoming availability on the X1 store.

I think it's fine for single player campaign stuff because you can mostly plan around the input lag since enemy AI is kinda dumb and youre not really in a competitive mode there.

It's much worse when youre trying to gnash someone online and finding that the input delay is costing you death after death.

Is there DLC missing from Gears Of War 3 and Deus Ex? I swear I had some Gears DLC and the Missing Link from the latter, but neither showed up to install when I went to "Manage Game."

Man, you guys weren't kidding about Reach. I really hope Microsoft is able to patch it because I absolutely love that game.

As well, did Halo: Reach install a second achievement list for anyone else? For some reason I have my original achievement list and a 0/0G list on my profile.

All of the DLC i have for 360 games has shown up in Manage Games, though it can take a few seconds to populate the first time i check

Gears seems to have everything (I had the season pass), but like other games with a pile of DLC, you should go into the 'My Games & Apps' section, highlight the game tile and press Menu/Start to Manage the game and wait until it gets the network to reveal all of your associated DLC for you to download. Gears 3 also seems to only reveal available DLC content that you own piece by piece when you actually run the game and re-"purchase" it from inside the game and the X360 system store page. Just make sure you aren't confirming a charge at the last step if you already own the content.

The store might be having problems currently according to XBL network messaging. It might be affecting license verification.

Guess that answers the question I was about to throw out. Downloaded and installed the game just fine, but every time I try to start it up, it says something about not being able to connect to something.

I'll give it another shot later today. Hope it runs well; I'd like to run through the Campaign again one of these days.

Reach plays "fine" for me(singleplayer).

I got that second 0/0G achievement list for Portal, too.

Reach is deff hurting right now but as far as it being unplayable, i cant agree with that. Have never played halo reach before and i just went 18-14 online in the btb mode. Furthermore most of my scores have had an even kd. Some maps run better then others but its perfectly playable imo

It's "playable" but it's not running nearly as well as it should be.
I find it pretty hard to put up with because I know it shouldn't run like that.

Good lord Reach runs like shit, in intensive moments the game runs at half speed.There's even parts of the campaign where there's NO TEXTURES. How did they think this was ready for release.

To me, it seems like the December list was shaping up badly, and Microsoft improvised Reach in it, even if it still needed (a lot) of work.

I played a bit of Reach and the frame rate was rough along with some stuttering too, doesn't look like they were quite ready to put it out. I hope it gets an update soon.

So we can pretty much expect this same wave of posts every month until RDR and Bayonetta get added.

Really hate the fact there's never any middle ground with alot of people, it's just one extreme or the other with the odd exception lost somewhere in between.

Has anybody got fable 3 working? Mine crashed a few times and i get a msg to try again later, one time i almost got it up but it crashed b4 it finished syncing my save data

Not really the case, it has some framerate issues that are worse on some maps over others but as somebody whos never played much halo i was getting positive kd's online. Its likely not the best way to play it but its perfectly playable. I guess if your a hardcore halo player it might be a bit aggrivating but in my opinion its better then nothing.

Thats good to hear, i think ms servers are just getting hit right now from everybody downloading bc games. It says in my network settings that parts of the store and core service are experiencing issues. Probs just try again later lol
