Dior Homme is def affordable. I've been using this one for years. Was expensive but the bottle is huge and is lasting for a loooong time.

I lost the spray cap for it and so I haven't been using it lately out of pure laziness.

Mac are any of the other DH fragrances from that range good? BDA was my favorite like uhh 6 years ago but there were only 3 options then and there are lots now...

People like the A&F fragrance because it's familiar to them and smells like A&F, not because it smells Iike you. I'd rather have the people close to me know me by a unique fragrance, not one that smells like the second floor corner of a Westfield shopping mall.

i've only messed with the standard dior homme, bois dargent and eau sauvage. the citrusy dior homme that came out not too long ago is nice but unmemorable.

but if you like dh and bois dargent for their powdery-green-grey iris you'll be happy to know there are a lot of iris goodies out there to be gotten.

I wanted another DH one specifically so I can have another spray cap that fits that bottle :lol

I'll probably go back for Terre d'Hermes. I emptied out mine but it was a huge hit for me when I used to wear it. I also need something spicy. Everything I have right now is very powdery/sweet. Bois d'argent is probably the spiciest I have.

hah, maybe just swipe one off a bottle at sephora? :p

well if you like terre maybe try poive samarcande from the same guy? it skips the citric zap of terre and goes straight into a dry, peppery wood-spice combo. I reach for it way more than terre now, which almost feels like a compromise by comparison.

thanks. I think ill have to give that a try. Terre is really citric and that's the only thing I'm not 100% into about it.

Been wearing this since high school and still one of my favorite colognes:

Also have these two in the rotation:

Acqua Di Gio but it's one of only a few kinds I've ever used. Others were Chrome Azzaro and Cool Water. Cool Water just reminds me of being a teenager though so it's not the best and Azarro is ok but nothing special like Acqua Di Gio.

I'm trying some new ones though and will have the samples in a few days. Ones I'm trying are:

Armani Code
Light Blue Dolce and Gabanna
Kenneth Cole Reaction
1 Million
Burberry Brit
Polo Red
Eros Versace
L'Eau D'Issey
The One Gentlemen

I use this one as my regular one

This one for going out to bars or dates. Couldn't bring it with me because the spray is kind of broken and leaks.

Will go out and buy me a nice one thanks to the thread :)

I don't use cologne generally as I find the smell far too overpowering. I just use antiperspirant after a shower and call it a day.

I have the same bottle for years now but this tread has given me some ideas to try a new one.

I've tried to switch it up and do different ones, like the one from Express got some few comments but nothing like this one.

Yes it's from both ladies and dudes - to this day I always get told it's the best smelling cologne.

What's your scent?
What a coincidence, I think Fierce is the best too. And I can't stand most colognes.

I had a female friend buy me this as a gag gift.

Turns out it's honestly pretty okay. Bottle is dumb but whatever.
Got one of the 200ml bottles of the original OTB ages ago. Don't know what I was thinking, it's ridiculously overpowering to the point where I get a bit nauseous sometimes.

Olo victory wolf. I love it because it smells like a camp fire and because it isn't super common. In spring I switch to olo Foret.

Didn't read all the comments but from what I've seen no one mentioned Bleu De Chanel

Stuff is amazing, I went from Armani Code and Aqua do gio to this stuff and I dont know If there's going back.

It's true. A&F Fierce is my guilty secret too. No matter how expensive cool fragrances I buy, people just like it more.

I switch between this and Acqua di Gio. I ALWAYS get compliments.

I don't typically use cologne, but my sister used to work at a perfume stall at House of Fraser and practically forced some free samples on me. Invictus was fucking lush.

Also had a few compliments from the girl I'm dating on a Jimmy Choo one I can't remember the name of and Herrera 212 VIP Men.

Old Spice Sport + Curve.

Been using that combo for like 17 years and i get at least one compliment a month on how good i smell. Although that could be contributed the various creams/lotions and body wash i use.

One comment a month is NOT something to brag about. When I wear my shit (L'Artisan Mechant Loup), I get at least one comment a day.

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male always gets me the most compliments, though my favourite is probably Armani Attitude.

I work in the Flavors and Fragrance industry. The place I work at makes the completely undiluted fragrance. I looked up what we charge for different fragrances and was surprised that they all cost about the same, they are made with about the same raw materials, and the same company packs out the final fragrances for what I once assumed was many different company's.

I realize the mark up was so astronomically insane (25 pounds of undiluted fragrance is worth $300) I could just never justify buying cologne again.

I used to like Curve though

Never even thought about using a fragrance. Not because I think my natural scent is good or anything, just never really crossed my mind.
