_/¯I didn't hate either of those gens. I hated Sony during the PS2's hey day. So many broken promises and bullshit E3 presentations. They used to always bring out the charts and spreadsheets to show everyone how far ahead they were. They have a much more consumer focused, humble attitude today.
It won't be 3:1 by the end of 2016. That would mean XB1 stops selling almost entirely.
3:1 should be happen sometime in 2018.

I don't think we ever going to get 3 to 1 unless MS cut the gen short .
X1 will sell at least 40 to 45 million and i don't see PS4 selling 3 times that .

One opinion is purely subjective while the other can be backed up with evidence (e.g. Metacritic scores, lineup diversity, sales of exclusives, etc.). Just because both opinions are subjective, doesn't mean they are the same.

They could go with decent sized Flash memory model later this gen for cheaper price. Of course while retaining traditional HDD sku with higher price too for those that need a lot of space.

Emerging markets and PSVR are the wildcards, coupled with a Slim model and steeper price-cuts.
Really wouldn't mind an Ultra Blu Ray PS4 Slim packed in with Star Wars Episode VII.

Yea, the Wii was ~$100 cheaper than the PS4 and also had the Motion Controls novelty hype.
That thing could have challenged the PS2 for top console status if Nintendo kept it alive for several more years and supported it more.
PS4 getting 4K playback patched in for Blu Rays would be more than welcome :3

I think MS is actually doing way too well all things considered.

I think you're lowballing Rachet and Clank, and if GT Sports gets the marketing it needs and is legit solid it'll easily do more than 7 million WW.
The other numbers look about right though; personally I'm hoping Dreams is at least up to LBP numbers, even though it's much more ambitious than those games ever were. I think the community creations are gonna be what drives that game's sales, and it'll be a slow burner as a result.
Since we're at it I can't wait to see you say this very same thing about XBO in two more years.

I saw that $500 dollars and was gonna ask, thats not what it sells in North American, but you're referring to $500 Australian dollars, yeah that is a bind. If I were a gamer in Australia, I'd be importing most of my games and systems.

Bloodborne, maybe.It delivered for Sony, definitely, but 2 million isn't that big of a sales figure either.
Until Dawn is at best a modest,unexpected success, but not one that is huge.

Until Dawn developers and Sony said that the game sold more than expected and became a success. So it is a success. I can't remember if there were numbers for SO.
Really for Sunset Overdrive? Wonder why MS is holding the numbers back, or is it insomniac? I'm sure the game sold well since it was bundled in and was well reviewed.
