Hey everyone,

Is there some sort of recommended youtube channel or website that can offer some tips on how to play multiplayer? There's something about it that I find engaging enough to keep trying, but I don't feel like I'm really learning or getting better at the game, and it gets really frustrating at times. I can't use auto rifles at all in pvp, so I've mostly been sticking with pulse and scout rifles for better effect. Mostly playing as a Hunter, by the way.

For reference, I've been playing a bunch of Blops 3 on the side and I've been looking at Drift0r's In Depth videos, which help me understand the MP mechanics much better.

Any groups planned for HM Oryx tonight 8pm EST or later?

I'm hoping to run challenge mode later tonight, but it's just me at this point (no group yet). I should be off work & free tonight around 9/10 CST, maybe we can get together & find a group if you're still looking at that point.

EDIT: I'm on PSN.

Cool. I will be on around that time for sure. You can message me here or on PSN (Saint9806). I'll try to check back here regularly this evening.

More on armor perks:

It's all just so inconsequential. I found myself saving up a lot of armor because I wanted to use all the perks I like. Then I looked at the perks and they're all so stupid.

Arc double down. Yeah... thats going to happen maybe twice a game if I'm running an arc class. And for what a 20 second agility boost? What is it 5%? Who knows.

Health regeneration when picking up orb. Yeah... there's 3 places in the game where this matters. Crota, shade, and nightfall modifier. Whatever.

Faster melee. Yeah... one of the better perks i guess but how much faster is it? Like 2%?

Almost all the perks are meaningless with no tangability. Extra ammo and faster reloads on weapons are probably the only ones worth striving for. And even that's a stretch because you want int/dsc above all else.

So it all comes to this: you can't build the character you want to build. I play the shit out of pokémon. And if you want to get a certain pokémon, with certain moves, nature, item, ability, ivs, evs, gender, egg moves, etc... it takes awhile but you can. You can overcome the rng through perserverence and enough tries. In destiny, you just take whatever the game gives you and live with it. No one builds a character with perks in mind.

Yup, that's the problem with armor perks. The only ones you should and need to care about are ammunition. But even then, you only want to care about special or heavy extra ammo because the primary bonus perks are very useless.

Armor should affect your class. Jazz it up, spice it up. Like if armor affected one of your classes skills, IE have an armor perk that lets you use a Strikers super twice in quick succession, then that goes farther than 'Gain extra super energy off kills'. Suddenly it's something that a Striker Titan wants to get, and then you really have to decided whether you want that or an exotic in that slot instead, or maybe this other piece that modifies a different ability.

It would go a very, very long way if they did that.

* Emblems issued 1/12/16. Must log-in by 2/17/16 to receive Strange Coins and Motes of Light.

Looking at it closely for 10 minutes

I can definitely say that they look like penises riding off into the sunset

"But Breezy, they look nothing like penises!"

You doubt me now, just like you doubted me with Stormbreakers, Sunsingers, and Sunbreakers.

Whenever I go to Shaxx to pick up the weekly bounties the last one (which I think is about completing the rest of his weekly bounties) auto completes as soon as it enters my quest inventory.

This happen last week on two of my characters so today I decided to see if it would happen again.

Yup. Picked it up with all three characters and it auto completed.
Gear received:
310 Thunderlord
310 Truth
Crucible ship "Mind Bleacher"
17 strange coins

Anyone else having this same level of luck?
