Did they really give the best picture winners like 30 seconds before playing music? They're over time, but still. Give 'em a minute, geez. You're already over time, what's one more minute? What an embarrassment.

My takeaway from this thread has been that I should actually watch The Big Short.

Please do. It's fantastic in it's own right as a film, but it transcends film in a way you don't often get to see. It really exist for posterity, and everyone owes it to themselves to see it.

It's about the local affiliates. Every minute they go over is the people who tune in at 11 to watch the news(who don't give a damn about the Globes) switching over to a competitor actually showing the local news.

Not only do you come off as immature and jaded, but you also have horrible taste lol. No matter how many times you refer to him as a hack and a fraud, it won't make it true.
