Pocket Mortys, like many episodes of the show, is a true rollercoaster. It has a lot of highs, a ton of lows, and that may not appeal to everyone. For me though, I feel like I got my money's worth, and it made the wait for the next season of the show (which still has no set premiere window) that much easier.

Downloading now on Android. Any Rick and Morty till season 3 makes me happy.

edit- enjoying it so far i like that they use the music from the show but touched it up a bit to fit a video game.

Well that's a disappointment. I've been looking forward a great mobile Pokemon-clone, and the world of Rick and Morty seemed perfect.

Too bad they made it only three different "pokemon types" equivalent to fire-water-grass that are issued out randomly, and repeat the same trainers through the game.

Even if the game ends up being thin, I'm downloading this solely based on the writing and hopefully voice acting. I'll even take just an opening movie with voice acting. Roiland voicing Rick and Morty never fails to make me laugh.

The only voice acting I can see is on the beginning and ending of the fights, and the grunts of the Mortys after each attack. And the writing... eh.

You also get coupons just by playing through the game apparently. I just got one, used it, and got a few items and a new Morty for my team. Pretty neat.

Same here. Playing on a Galaxy S5 and had no issue.

Just played through the tutorial on my iPhone 6S Plus. Had zero issues so I'm wondering if this is an Android bug. Anyway... yep this is Pokemon.

How the hell do you get more chips to capture more M-m-mortys.

I'm in the second area and there's three mortys I can capture, but no chips to capture another.

and it has one key difference to pokemon btw: don't walk on tall grass, it does nothing lol.

edit: apparently to be able to purchase the chips, you gotta get more badges so I guess I'll keep playing.

I haven't played long at all, but the music is a real bummer. A huge one. Kinda makes it hard to feel engaged at times.

why? I mean yeah, there isn't much of it, but it's songs from the show, I enjoyed the chiptune version of Moonmen.

also fyi you get a blitz and chips ticket when you
battle and defeat a council rick
. I used mine, got a bunch of items, and also got a "Sausage Morty" which made me lol. And he's a different type too, so now I just need a Paper type morty and I'll have the three basics.

Oh man I really can't take the wait for season 3. I LOVE that it starts out with a chiptune version of the soundtrack from the ending of season 2 episode 3. One of my favorite moments in the show.

Game doesn't show up on my android's Play Store, I guess is just too outdated for a lot of newer apps. Then again, It should show up anyways no? Just not let me donwload it.
