Well... It will be interesting to see what their physics model is like without all of those assists.

It's pretty amazing how they've handled this game. I can't do anything but appreciate such dedication to a project. Fixes, updates, expansions and i mean how many times have we seen a case where gamers actually want! A second season pass

Traction control, stability control & other assists off! My dreams come true.. Ohh yes... Finally real DRIFT is going to happen.

Damn, I usually race against Semi Pro AI's and am not very good at even that. I don't think I'll be playing on Hardcore. :p

I want to hear that guy who introduced Driveclub at the PS4 reveal event talk about this new mode. I bet it'd be absolutely filthy.

I feel no shame in saying that #DRIVECLUB is my favorite console game this generation. And the way its been supported almost brings tears to my eyes. Only negative is that Im going to have to buy a wheel for the ps4, but with Dirt Rally also on the Horizon, and now this, I finally think it'll be worth it.

I never would have guessed they'd go this direction, but I already need this badly. Wow.

Indeed. I never would have thought this would come after they did the automatic braking stuff.

Goddamn, It's one of the main things I wanted for this game and now it's true.

I don't think this matters at all.

Why would you run against others top speed using hardcore mode, if the top speeds are only achievable disabling it?

Maybe they will add a leaderbord in the future, but, this seems important to quote right now.

With enough practice you should be able to be faster without any assists on. This isn't an issue.

Well then, hope it's possible.

Encore, hardcore, rock you down to the floor!

I do like what they're doing at Evolution Studios. It seems like they sell you the game (and an optional additional expansion pack per year - I've bought both), and throw in a few free updates to please the niche supporters. I have no complaints at all.

You'll go faster when you're not bogged down by assists and you're good.

Because you should be able to go just as fast, if not faster once you learn how to drive effectively without any assists.

It's the same in Forza/GT. The leaderboards are not separate for those who don't use any assists. The only thing you can do is filter the results, but that still doesn't change the standings of the overall leaderboard.

The support this game gets is amazing. I'm sad I don't have a wheel that supports ps4 to fully experience this game. I put my investment into the TX instead of the T300.

True, and in Forza at least the top of the leaderboards are generally filled with non-assist using players.

I think I didn't updated fast enough when saw your comment GHG hehe. So, no complaints on this. Didn't know exactly how it works and thought it was important. Thanks for the heads-up o/

Lol I am curious about driving the Hennesey Venom GT or Koenigsegg One:1...

With heavy precipitation...

On the snow...

On the dark...

With Hardcore settings...

With G29/T500RS...

Delicious.
