Did you not like Max Payne 1/2?Expected imo.
Unfortunately after the clunky, bore repetitiveness of Alan Wake, I don't have faith I'll like a Remedy Game.

And it will probably be Win10 exclusive. Meh...
Only Scalebound remains.
Why would anyone not be on w10 by now? I've been trying it for the last few weaks and it really is a nice improvement over 8.1, wich was of course already better than 7.

Wait, ms owns the IP? I always thought it was a Remedy IP just like Alan Wake.Considering MS own the Quantum Break IP, I'd say its highly unlikely to appear on Sony or Nintendo platforms
You have to admit this would be a hell of a reason for PC gamers to switch to Windows 10.
Myself I have not followed Quantum Break much at all (due to it not announced on PC) but Microsoft could get my interest and my money.
W10 is basically 8.1 or 7 but better.
There is stuff here and there which is annoying but as long as you use anything from 7 there is nothing you should be worried about.
The future looks bright especially if you're interested in emulators and DX12 games, those heavily improve with that.

w10 store exclusive as in not Steam is what he's talking about
Windows 10 exclusive usually means that it's sold only on Windows Store. Nobody uses that shit.
Please see my comment above. Let's not turn this thread into a windows shitting/defense thread...

Oh, yeah, that would suck big time, not being able to have it on steam. I would probably by it anyway though.
In what OS did you expected it to be?
I don't understand this mentality at all, especially with the windows store preinstalled on every single windows 10 device. It's no different from having to use the app store on an iPhone or Google play store on Android if you want to play clash of clans or download an app.
Steam would be great, but it's not happening...

So Halo 5, Forza 6 & QB on PC then. Not bad.

You have Steam Achievements, Steam Community for screenshot sharing, Steam forums, Steam guides, Steam keeps track of your gametime and pretty much every other game you own is on Steam.
Having a game on Steam is better than having it on the W10 Store.
Btw this page's user going to mad soon once they wake up and find this rumor.

I totally understand Microsoft are not thrilled to give a 30% cut to Valve, they apparently want to make their Xbox on Windows ecosystem thrive and exclusives are a very good way of achieving that.
I'm still very sceptical this listing is legit, but it would certainly send PC gamers a message about how "serious" Microsoft are when it comes to supporting PC gaming.

I agree exclusives are good to attract people to your client but i don't think quantum break or Gears are the exclusives you want to do that on PC.
If only MS had good PC studios that made massively popular PC games..
I think the Steam/WinStore split of Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to inform Microsoft's decision on what to do with its paid games. Gears UE will spell out Microsoft's intentions.

Remedy owns the Alan Wake IP because it invested its Max Payne money into development of the game prior to partnering with MS as publisher. Quantum Break, on the other hand, is something MS has been funding from the off.
If they do keep this up, they're really giving PC gamers a lot of incentive to not own an XB1... Besides the loss on hardware sales, you're also looking at the loss of XBL subs as well. If they do keep this going though, something tells me there will be some sort of catch or rub to get you onto their hardware instead...
FUCKING YES!!!
Wait wat?
I'll wait for the iOS release.
Though to be precise, I've heard from "a" Forza coming to PC this year. Forza 6 is just my guess.
Does not matter. They can greatly entice PC gamers to spend in what is their ecosystem anyway. I don't know how much margin they make on xbone sales but I doubt they are extremely important, the elephant in the room is the Xbox Live. Any game that can sell subscriptions such as these is very unlikely to release on PC, but to my knowledge Quantum Break is a mostly SP game so I would understand Microsoft's move.
Stuff like Halo 5 will of course stay on console.

I completely understand why people would prefer steam (honestly who wouldn't), what I don't understand is people implying that they wouldn't purchase the game just because it isnt available on steam. It just seems baffling to me, why miss out on a game just because you need to use a different service to download it
Where you have read this ?
Forza sells Xbox Live subs so.....Hard to imagine it coming to PC, and I'm not even talking about mainlines entries.
