I saw 19 for the DLC standalone and 29 for the season pass on PSN.

We don't know where he got that information from. Maybe he is an insider. Anyway, we will know soon.
Around 10h for the main story. Another 10h for the side quests. Plus 100h for the daily quests and getting Veteran Level 250.

Got Dying Light for free when it first came out but it didn't run very well on my PC, so I kinda shelved it. I could tell it was a game I'd like, but now my gaming PC has recently gone kaput and I'm thinking about going PS4.
I know they did a series of vid docs to sort of explain The Following and other new features that were coming as part of the expansion and update, but does anyone know if anything details in-depth the types of performance enhancements that are coming to console?

So would it be reasonable to assume that the patch is gonna drop at midnight? I've been looking forward to this for a while now, even more so when I somehow got it into my head last week that it was coming out on the 5th (don't ask why). If it's coming at midnight then I think I can stay up for a few more hours 
moving to the bozak level changes your difficulty to normal mode even if you are in hard mode for the rest of the games.
it is easy to test, in bozak, health packs will heal for 100 you instantly even though they are supposed to heal you over time in hard mode.

Ive seen a new vault maneuver for low level objects like fences, but thats it. Hopefully theres more.

I think it is time for me to buy the Enhanced Edition. I have been waiting long enough.
Probably as everyone needs to have the new weapon models for coop. Nice part is that the expansion will be a small DL most likely.

Just went to boot Dying Light prior to grabbing the expansion so I could familiarise myself with the controls again after the best part of a year of not playing and its downloading a 17gb update.
Do we know if this includes the Following DLC? Seems like a huge patch if not

I have a question and hope someone can answer. I have beaten the game but just yesterday chose to replay a mission trying to get a trophy. When I launch "the following" tonight will I have to replay the final mission to have a save post campaign or will the game remember that I beaten it prior to replaying an earlier mission? Sorry for the long question but it's kinda driving me nuts.

I really hope that nightmare mode and the legend system extend the experience well for co-op. Hard difficulty in co-op unfortunately flatlined two-thirds of the way into the main campaign.

Yeah, those psn prices Re the official prices. Originally the whole season pass was only $19.99 but it was raised to $29.99 because they added so much content. Gamestop is still selling the ps4 version for the $19.99 price for the full season pass.

How is co-op handled in this game? Is it jump in and out whenever or d you have to setup some kind of lobby for people to join?

If you know it must've been answered already, why do you ask for forgiveness and ask anyway instead of just checking? Thread is less than 3 pages, not like you'd have to comb a massive OT for hours to find out.
Anyway, it has been answered in the OP/faq and thread itself: SP is not worth it, horde mode ain't good, then you have dumb weapon packs which aren't useful at all since vanilla's weapons are superior anyway, added missions are mediocre. Go with the standalone expansion for $19 instead, which seems to be great value with a single map bigger than vanilla's 3 maps put together, driving gameplay (dune buggies y'all!) and hopefully also a better story.

Btw, patch is still not available for me (EU). Weird. You guys with vanilla all have NA copies or some from EU were able to start the download?

But I'm lazy and didn't bother getting my ass off the couch to put the disc in the PS4 and actually try launching the game. PSN store is also crawling like crazy, takes ages for stuff to appear, is it under some kind of maintenance or something's wrong on my end?

PS4 version hadn't been updated last I checked. BTW, I'm willing to coop the story with you. Lost my save file thanks to thieves and slogging back through it right now. Like 20% in. We're in different time zones but we can work something out.

If it's the DLC on its own releasing on its own, that makes absolutely no sense.

Console: 9th in NA, 11th in EU, 12th in UK.
Patch release date coincides with expansion.

An individual piece of DLC has never released on the UK PSN outside of a Tuesday or a Wednesday.
This is weird, The Following DLC really should be released on Wednesday at the latest.

Well, definitely down for it *if* my accent doesn't bother you lol (I'm actually Italian even if I've lived for years in the UK); it'd be awesome having a co-op buddy/ies from GAF to play the game with! I'm not sensitive to that kind of stuff so if you end up not enjoying it you can bail without hurting my feelings
Time-zone wise it kinda works out for me I guess, since I suffer from insomnia and do most of my gaming past midnight till 4 AM GMT. What does that translate to for you?
