Hahah, I can't wait for hillary supporters to realize they are alone. The delusion of this election besides the republican establishment freaking out about trump is the one hillary supporters have about independents or bernie supporters. Not coming with ya and there's a lot more of us. If turnout is shitty on democratic side and republicans vote enjoy the trump madness.

I don't vote for pandering pro corporate pro israel leaders. Unless trump says he's the anti christ tommorow just stew knowing people like us matter more than anyone on team read or blue this election.

Agreed! I really don't understand why people can't agree with only us Sanders supporters and recognize that he is the only one that should be president, unless of course he's not nominated then that title should go to Trump. Screw anyone who isn't on our side!

Why? Even if the race is essentially over he's still raking in the fundraising cash. He should stay in until he runs out of money or until he is officially mathematically eliminated.

This has been kind of a fun election for Sanders.

He got to raise millions of dollars
Hire a bunch of people
Outspend the competition
Layoff hundreds of people

Not bad for a socialist from Vermont.

I love the spin. I see a lot of people here act like he doesn't have important message to bring to the people. When you miss the point this much it's easy to see why the support here is so homogenized.

You are living in an alternate reality.

Don't let the facts impact you though.

The Hillary supporter statement is weird because either candidate's supporters needs the other for the general. And the one you seem to hate the most has a large majority of the vote. So doesn't that logic work both ways.

This election has really brought out the worst in folks. Sad to see that my people on be left can be so vitriolic and spiteful. We must not be cut from the same cloth.

The scary part is that I'm scared of this happening.

Why would the turnout be bad on the democrat side if Trump is literally one of the most polarizing candidates to run in recent history?

If anything it will galvanize the democrats and result in one of the biggest landslides in the modern era.

Hillary will likely win by 10%.

Hawk already addressed your points but I wanted to add the Hillary spent time building coalitions and building relationships with key voting blocs. There is a reason minority voters especially african americans almost overwhelmingly support her.

This is what I hope people take away from this election

Bernie didn't lose because of election fraud

Bernie didn't lose because of low information voters

Bernie didn't lose because the establishment conspired against him specifically to keep "the revolutionary" down

Bernie lost because Hillary bothered to build actual coalitions with different groups

Bernie lost because he seems to have very little interest in politicking and forming alliances, and it turns out the way you get things done in this country is by working with people

Bernie lost because, frankly, he's just an okay candidate for president, and over the course of his campaign he failed to convince people he was an outstanding one.

Hillary isn't winning because she's married to Bill, she's winning because more people think she should be president. Full stop. It doesn't matter how many polls you unskew or how many unfair practices (that somehow only benefit Hillary, never Bernie) you find, no matter how you fix the math she got more votes

What? That doesn't even make sense. I think you completely missed the point of my post.

If he were to concede the Democrat nomination to Hilary she could stop spending campaign money on campaigning against him, aka save money for the general.

I understand what you're saying. I don't think he should concede the nomination until the convention, which marks the end of the election for Dems. I don't think he should get out just because he's not going to win. There are plenty of people who continue to fight in elections, despite not having a real shot at winning.

People really need to start reading source articles. It's incredible here how many people are making comments like this. The article pretty clearly states about who the cuts are to and why.

It won't be Obama numbers. That's for sure.

3.2M more votes, and climbing.

Hillary has been running for 8 years, Bernie was never going to win, he never had a chance, and if his supporters were honest with themselves they would see it too. You don't lose by 4M votes by the end of this and still be a viable candidate. He never had a chance.

So you don't have a history of voting then?

And what benefits are brought to the table by Bernie staying in the race?

No, not voting and voting null are completely different things.
Not voting only shows you don't care about the right you have to vote.
Voting null is me showing I don't want any of the options that has been given to me.

Voting Null means you wasted like an hour of your day and made somebody else in line to vote waste slightly more of their time simply to make an empty statement.

But that is what democracy is. You cast your opinion on a ballot.

You do realize that they do not count the people that didn't vote, right?

What you're writing here just isn't fucking logical or rational. At all.

It's literally insane.

No, a vote on Trump is a vote on Trump. A null vote is a vote on no one. Is that that hard to understand?

A null vote is a vote for the other side, dude.

If you do not vote, then that is one less vote FOR your party.

How hard is THAT to understand?

No, not voting and voting null are completely different things.

Voting null is me showing I don't want any of the options that has been given to me.

Nobody fucking cares, though.

You're literally doing the same thing as not voting.

Do you honestly think that you are a part of some sort of political revolution by not voting?

If he's still voting down-ticket, I'd say the action still has value. Down-ticket is very important. Arguably even more important than voting for President. It's just not sexy.

Not too worries about the Bernie Or Bust folks. If Clinton is really that unpalatable to them, then I can't imagine they voted for Obama in large numbers. And if they didn't vote for Obama in large numbers, then they clearly aren't necessary to win in November.

It's tantamount to some europeans who always claimed the area surely had no race issues, and were so developed socially, and well above Americans -- despite the US having a significantly more diverse racial makeup.

...Until that started to change recently. And look what happened.

The left is beautiful, rational, a technocratic and scientific coalition. Until it's not.

What? Hillary ran against Obama.

He shares awful policies like being against free trade, and... that's literally it.

Being against free trade is right-wing? In my country, it's only the left-sided parties who are against free trade.

Im against free trade and Im a socialdemocrat (moderate socialist).
