They're actually gonna call it Battlefield 1? :/ I mean, I guess they haven't filled that slot in the "main series" outside of 1942 being the actual first for the series. But... :/

It would take amazing balls to name your next battlefield game "Battlefield 1" since you know we have BF4, personally i'm pretty excited that DICE is gonna perhaps try something very different this time around.

I wouldn't say it takes "balls." Just that it's really weird. We have Battlefield 2, 3, and 4. Most folks know that BF1942 is "BF1" so calling the... what... 5-8th entry (can't check right now) in the series BF1 is just... odd.

A junior said he was told by a source that it was called Battlefield 1 and set in 1920. And he wasn't banned and Nirolak quoted him when the last thread was closed. I can't pull it over because I'm on mobile.


The Dino thing is just an in-joke for Battlefield.

Same if it's WW2. I want that 2143 they've been hinting at for ages. That or another modern shooter because, seriously, I'm sick of WW2. It's everywhere. Even if we haven't had a deluge of it in games, there's numerous documentaries and books and TV shows made about it. Go watch those for your WW2 fix. :/
