Maaaaan, people still aren't working as a team in level 36 matches even. Everyone is just rushing to the payload one-by-one and dying and never grouping up with anyone, just rushing by themselves and dying. They ignore the objective and treat the game like it's Team Deathmatch just trying to kill as much as possible on their own before dying in 3 seconds.
I had a match just now where I was Zenyetta and I kept telling everyone that my ultimate is ready, Transcendence, so group up on me. You know, so I can protect everyone while we all rush at them at the same time in an unstoppable force. But nope. I just watched as everyone rushed in by themselves and died one by one. And I was sending these messages for minutes and no one ever grouped up. Crazy. Level 36 matches, folks.
Can't wait for ranked.

^this. a lot of people will play just the same. ranked will be even a worse shitshow, because people will care more and the chat will be really bad..

This is why it's crucial to play with people you know. There is usually a group of neogafs on ps4 to play with, and my buddies at work always usually play after shift.

Yeah, I do that too, grouping up with people on your friends list is the key to having a lot of fun. But, whenever I do decide to play a random match it's a shitshow.

Add a bunch of people to your friends list from here or elsewhere. Playing with people in a group vs in a pug is such a world of difference.
Well, all my ratios continued their long decline down the shitter today...
But I hit 30 and got a 40 elimination match with D.Va which was pretty fun. I feel like I'm getting better and better with her, now if only my faceless pub teammates would do the same...

I would actually spend extra money on skins for the characters I like. Definitely not gonna risk buying boxes just to get some shitty sprays.
Bad players probably won't be any more effective on the roles you want then to be on so might as well let them do their own thing in Quick Match.
Also 50% offensive heroes isn't the worst thing! You still have room for a tank, healer and Widowmaker!

I would buy a loot box if there was a CIA skin.
I get that seeing those Tracers while playing defense in CP is annoying, and so is having multiple snipers when you are attacking or defending.
But team comp suggestion is just that a suggestion.
You can still defend without a sniper or a builder you see, you can also defend while playing attack heroes like McCree and Reaper and you can attack without a Tank. Just because it says so doesn't mean it isn't effective...it depends on a game by game and situation by situation basis.
As such penalising players for not following an algorithm for suggestion is ridiculous.
I was having similar issues to begin with but after a couple of matches it really started to click, once you've got it down and you know the best times to use her Ult you start to become super powerful!

You can only earn items from Loot Boxes.
Other than that, there's currency; received in various amounts from Loot Boxes and from item dupes. You can buy them directly with the accumulated amount.

I see people playing Tracer soooo often, personally.Got myself on the ending video with mercyfirst time I've seen a healing character on it

Tracer is hard to use for alot of people. You're supposed to flank but you wanna run into the thick of things. She doesn't just put people down like McRee or Reaper. You can feel like you're spamming your attack and doing next to no damage.

i dont see how this will change anything.People will play the way they play now. Singleplayer people will join a match and hope others go for the objective without voice communication or some just play team deathmatch and teams will join a match and communicate. Same as we have now. It`s not like teams do stupid stuff now and will play hardcore team mode later. They do already to win a match.
So i dont see why people are so excited for ranked mode. Other games show perfectly how ranked doesnt change anything. In battlefield you have people who play deathmatch even in capture the flag mode. Same for Battlefront. You get People not playing the objective in every mode. Ranked or unranked. Singleplayers will outnumber people who join up with friends to play all the time.
So can somebody explain why Overwatch Ranked will be different?

Combining Zarya's and mei's ults sounds like a waste.
Don't think he means using their supers at the same time. Just in general facing a coordinated team with those specific supers is too difficult a challenge for a pickup group.

I've had good luck with good team comps at the beginning of the map, but I feel like most people are hesitant to change depending on the circumstances of the round.
For example we had the enemy team switch to 4 Bastions as we were 99% of the way there on a Payload map...and nobody changed their characters. I was McCree and bounced to Junkrat for good ol nade spam, and I was the only one. I didn't want to be a tool and spam the chat but come on.

So I was playing defense on Kings Row today, we get pushed back pretty quick. Instantly a Soldier 76 player complains that this team composition is shit. Since it's actually one of the few times I've met players complaining like this, I checked his career profile. Out of his 20 hours played, 18 of them was with Soldier 76. We did eventually win, but some people.
I just revived someone then killed an enemy straight after, guess no one else did anything special that game

Depair is being in Overtime on payload on the last point and somehow holding out for two minutes without dying as Mei with a Mercy supporting you and just praying the rest of the team gets its shit together.

I finally cracked and bought the game on Friday, but I have to say it has not quite grabbed me like the Beta did. After about 2 games I get bored and switch off.
It also doesn't help that I seem to get teamed up with dickheads that all insist on playing as Hanzo and refusing to try anybody else.
I really enjoyed that Mystery Heroes Weekly Brawl during the Beta. That made people actually think about what they were doing.

As you get better at Mercy you'll learn when to pull out your pistol and put some pressure on people but for the most part, no, Mercy is extremely one note. Put your staff on people and click the heal button.
You should try Lucio. He's much more fun than Mercy and you'll probably end up putting out more healing in the end. Mercy's only upside over Lucio is her Ultimate.
