For anyone who actually enrolled for the update after they got an Xbox Live message a couple days ago, has your status changed from "EnrollChangePending" yet?

Curious if everyone is at the same stage or if they've started 'accepting' people and they'll get the update later today.

All I want is something to click on that shows me everything currently on sale.

Even the PS Store has that, and I hate that interface.

They have had that for Gold members for a while now.. under the games with gold tab or add on the front.... for me always showed the deals of the week. Perhaps there are more that are not linked to Gold? If so then I think someone mentioned in this thread that it looks like in the store there will be a sale spot.

Those are just the Gold-exclusive deals. There are always more things on sale than just those, and those sale prices extend to all users, not just Gold members.

If you Google "Xbox sales & specials" you will get a Web page, updated every Tuesday, with everything that's on sale this week (including the Gold-exclusive deals). But there's no easy way to find out what's on sale from the console itself.

If they add that in this update, I (and I'm sure many others, including developers) will appreciate it greatly!

Don't get me wrong, any update to the Game Library is welcome and much-needed, but I don't see folders there. We need folders badly.

Meanwhile, on PS4..

meanwhile on ps4 it had voice commands via headset since launch. not sure why a kinect is need to do something simple like that. im also still waiting for custom soundtracks, a feature the 360 had since 2007. having to run a separate ipod/speaker device while i play Gears is getting old.

It seems like one of the unannounced features on the PC side is the ability to stream directly to Twitch (and maybe YouTube) using the Game bar. Recent API changes heavily hint at it:

Code:
public class Windows.Media.Capture.AppBroadcastGlobalSettings {
public double SystemAudioGain { get; set; }
public string SelectedCameraId { get; set; }
public double MicrophoneGain { get; set; }
public bool IsMicrophoneCaptureEnabledByDefault { get; set; }
public bool IsEchoCancellationEnabled { get; set; }
public bool IsCameraCaptureEnabledByDefault { get; set; }
public bool IsAudioCaptureEnabled { get; set; }
public AppBroadcastCameraOverlaySize CameraOverlaySize { get; set; }
public AppBroadcastCameraOverlayLocation CameraOverlayLocation { get; set; }
public bool HasHardwareEncoder { get; }
public bool IsBroadcastEnabled { get; }
public bool IsDisabledByPolicy { get; }
public bool IsGpuConstrained { get; }

Plus there's this:

As far as MS is concerned, if that guy thinks there's something coming, then generally it's all but confirmed.

Or they could just enable the Headset for Voice Commands :p Dont think would be that hard for them to do :)

But then I'd have to wear a headset, which isn't ideal.

I just think it would be cool if the console unit itself had the microphone built into it. All the benefits of the Kinect setup without having to have the stupid bulky camera plugged in.

It'll stay at pending until you receive the update.

I don't understand why people browse the store on the Xbox if they hate it. There are other options. Use the smartglass app. Use store.xbox.com. "Xbox bing <game name>"

Even so, I also don't get the hate of the store. I've never had an issue with it. I use it more than the iOS App Store, which I only ever use the search button on. Stores are hard to organize. Even Amazon's browsing interface sucks. I just use search there, too. Between all of those, I'd rather use the Xbox store, actually.

Yessir. Seems MS is doing a great job with the updates that are unannounced. Waiting for the apps coming to XBO though.

WalkingCat is legit as hell.

Still pending here.

Last time I tried that Xbox App DVR on my PC it introduced hitching on all my games so I disabled it. I would love if it would work better though - a built in Xsplit Gamecaster at no cost would be neat.

Looks great so far. Gonna watch the video soon but I hope there's a way to filter the Store so there's no flood of a billion Flappy Bird copies.

Finally the Xbox will not share pictures automatically !! Waiting for this for a long time.

Loved the new vertical scrolling in games.

Now i am just curious about the store apps, i want a decent youtube app that run 60fps videos like i have in Windows 10 Mobile.

Makes sense. The feature sets of the two will be completely merged at some point. Actually, that would be the last thing remaining I think.

Umm...they've worked since the beginning? You mean something other than game updates happening while the xbox is in low power mode?

Hmm no, as I have my xbox always completely off. What I want is, updates for games that i am not currently playing to happen automatically when the xbox is on.

Its irritating when I start a game that i haven't played for a while and then pop up, update....

So actually by using my headphones(has mic) I can actually command Cortana too? Because I don't have Kinect.

No background music though? :(

I'm still pending. I thought last time the status changed before the build went out but it might be different this time.

I'll leave my box in instant on over night and hope the update fairy visits me.

Sounds like a great update actually focused on making things easier and faster more than anything else. I hope it's a smooth roll out.

New controller revision probably comes with a mic. Wouldnt surprise me if they sold a little cheap usb mic to place next to your console for voice commands

Agreed. I want this as well. I don't have my console in low power mode but a way for ut to install updates while it's on anyway would be great.

Doesn't the PS4 do something like this already? I remember seeing the notification "downloading patch x.x for X" a lot when I'm on the dashboard.

And, most importantly, to be able to play a game offline while the update is downloading in the background. PS4 had this since launch

Watched the video, the new collection organization looks absolutely amazing! Download progress and speed, ready to install is its own section now, goddamn it looks so nice. Store improvements look decent too. But I hope the tab switching is more fluid and snappier, that's about the only dashboard feature that is still kinda janky for me.
