Not explicitly enough as far as I remember. If they wanted to they could pull another fake out and explain that the academy uniforms are based on this Link's clothes.Skyward sword already did that.

yo Link looks mighty feminine there
Still no green clothes, not unwelcome but an interesting move for Nintendo. Maybe this game's addition to the lore will be the origin of the Hero's Tunic.

The Miitomo promo art features two sets of Link hair. Hmm...
Oh fuck, Link's bald???Yes but they are called: "Link's new hair wig" and "Link wig".
Probably calling one of them "Linkle wig" would be giving too much away.
Same to me.looks just like Link to me tbh
nah, i made that same mistake as well, before realizing the time it ends (both a.m)Oh, I didn't read it correctly. I'm dumb. Sorry. I'm glad to have been wrong and that we get the sale sooner, though.
Oh fuck, Link's bald???
They ARE going western with this one.
Imo, i can see them having Wiimote support like TP Wii had, but not to the max with gameplay resolving around it.Link right handed
Motion controls confirmed

Not explicitly enough as far as I remember. If they wanted to they could pull another fake out and explain that the academy uniforms are based on this Link's clothes.
I'm happy with the explanation from SS (and I was happy with the ones from Minish Cap and OoT before that) but I'm trying to think of another reason they'd abandon the clothes.
Art looks amazing as expected. I'm also certain of the option to play as female Link too. There's almost certainly not going to be any FMVs, so we also won't have though awkward first person FMVs that Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates have to avoid showing the playable character.
I can think of 2 possible reasons:
1. This game is so far into the future of the Zelda timeline that the legend of the Hero is more or less forgotten, perhaps he finds the tunic later in the game in some ancient ruins?
2. This game is actually treated as a reboot of the series, sorta like a re-imagining of Zelda 1. Maybe there is no green tunic at all?
I fucking hope it's not a reboot.I can think of 2 possible reasons:

Naw. Cloud Strife is making a special guest appearance.Square Enix fielded a lawsuit, it's pending.

My most anticipated thing at E3 might be this game's subtitle, now that I think about it.
