Reading over the Day 1 stuff, I really don't feel confident about Flame_AC. But he's a hard read for me. I've misread him as scum before when he was actually town. That being said, him asking TWE if he was Danny Phantom, despite it obviously being a bad idea... and the whole fact that he seemed interested in finding Danny Phantom bothers me the wrong way. There's also a bit of fluffr on his part, what with the joke about being a Vig and the flavor/role speculation.

I swear to fuck if Bioware goes ass-shallow and pulls a Fallout 4 with the writing and its gameplay implementation in Mass Effect: Andromeda I'm going to do absolutely nothing about it, can't get decent hard-ish high sci-fi with a likeably cohesive narrative these days worth a damn, relying on this stupid lottery for honest quality that is corporate entertainment

The Force Awakens may have been progress protagonist-wise, but it sure as hell didn't progress the Star Wars saga's story arc as a bloody fuckin' whole

Reintroducing Star Wars to a new generation my ass, because that's what the movie was, except it's not mine

Its entire fictional universe got rewound and replayed for the sake of children unfamiliar with the franchise in reality, smh at what's acceptable in the world of mass amusement, Walt Disney forbid that we actually get these wonderful new fictional characters in some actually new fictional locales to have their fictional development in, fictional Han Solo on fictional "Starkiller" Base, fictional L. O. L.

I don't mind a Xam lynch but at the same time, I feel that Xam could be contributing a bit more as the day goes by and I can understand that day 1 and 2 was abysmally deadish (with fluffs everywhere) so the lack of participation and bandwagon is understandable. But still...the lack of anything to post is a little weird even for Xam himself

Darryl do you completely feel that TWE is now town for you or are you still skeptical of it? I personally still feel a little skeptical at the fact that he forgot the game started during D1 while he was commenting throughout the thread.

I personally don't mind Giant Panda lynch since I haven't seen any substantial benefits to town from him.

I haven't heard from OceanicAir's opinions on this in a while now and its nearly the end of the day. So I'm gonna prod vote and hopefully will change to a final vote by tomrrow

After perusing it myself, I can tell you that Enker's Will is an adequate meta-reference to all three ongoing GAFia games at the moment (DP, Bar and Bloodborne), but is at its core essentially a succinctly thankful farewell from an early eliminated player with no underlying hints of puzzle-locked intel for our potential use in play, which is technically illegal under GAFia's rule variant anyway.

As per our current ghostbusting strategy, we should ignore it and not remember it exists

Eventually, it will fade away by itself, revealing that we have won

You know, I don't have much of a read on you as you're a new player.... and you were awfully quiet during Day 1 from what I can tell. You made some commentary on Blarg (definitely one of my faovrite posters) as well as some commentary about Enker's role and Flame. Penny for your current thoughts, especially on Flame?

You should know that Royal_Flush slipped a #scumtell on Day 1 when he made a typo saying "Scum" instead of Town when referring to our hero Danny Phantom.

I don't know, man. I thought it was a good lead and it seemed real. The idea that he didn't know the game began is such a confounding thing and his comment is so out of place given the circumstances. I'm still puzzled. I'm keeping it at the back of my head right now and I think people should really take a second look at that as the game progresses, but there's a lot of players who are further in the red to me.

CB is really stretching to try to get me and you lynched but he's at least engaging people. It isn't a sign that he's not scum, but imo this game reeks of inactive and complacent scum.

Yes. D1 I was in over my head. I've only played Mafia in person before so this is an intense (overwhelming) experience for me. I'm trying to be productive on D2.

My thoughts have shifted given all the replacements we've had suddenly. I was leaning towards Xam not being town however..

I think Flame's argument of lynching Sky just to trigger something was and is a weak one and definitely sticks out to me as a strategy that could easily backfire on the town (and it looks like it kind of did).

You'll usually find the best leads by digging into people at random. Like when I made my huge over-analyzing post against Flame_AC, it was completely by accident. I was going down the list of people and was going to make a comment about their end of day activities, and Flame_AC's stood out to me. It's important to not listen to chatter, and instead look at poster's individually. If you only pay attention to chatter, you're putting your opinions at a larger risk of being subconciously influenced by scum.

I'm going to trust my hunch and I seriously think people should consider Flame_AC as a lynch candidate. Go back to the last page and read my huge post there. Giant Panda is a close second. I agree with those votes, too.

I'm standing by my actions at the end of the first day. I seriously don't understand y'alls logic here for thinking that it's a scum play. We needed a lynch to get the ball rolling, Blarg had been trying to tie it for the past 15 minutes, so I sat ready to be able to unforce a tie. I mean think about it, as it turned out, my vote literally served no purpose. SkyOdin was already the leader in votes before I voted, then I went, then the day ended right on time. What good would it do to make such a move like I did as scum? I just as easily could have let time tick out on the day and gotten away with a townie lynch, but I wanted to make sure that I put my own vote down for others to see.

I feel more comfortable about Darryl now than prior in the day.

Still think Star is scum but nobody else does.

Between Panda and Flame, I think Flame is the scummier.

Trying to get an idea of who I haven't really heard from since I joined the game. Coming in at the last 24 hours of Day 2 in a game where people are coasting isn't helping a lot.

Well on day 1, I thought Xam was actually a good lynch target considering the standards for day 1. Today, well the only lynches that have my attention right now are XamKitty and Flame. Not sure that I believe the miller claim, especially since Xam didn't claim it on day 1. When a miller role came up in Love Boat I remember someone saying you either claim it right away or never speak a word of it and hope it never comes up. On one hand Xam did not bring it up right away, but Kingkitty to his credit mentioned it fairly quickly into tenure.

For now, my vote remains on Xamkitty. If nothing else, I wanted this miller claim gone and out of the way so that it isn't haunting us later in the game.

It is true that the usual play for a miller is either claim immediately, or fake it until you make it. I'm not sure what Xam intended by not claiming, but for the moment I'm inclined to believe Kingkitty's claim simply because of being a replacement and mentioning it in his opening post.

I tried to explain this in my last post. I don't know if you're trying to avoid drawing attention to it but you essentially decided our night target yourself by voting StarSketch. Then you flaked on your convictions at the end of the day just so we have a lynch.

I get morbid curiosity at the end of day phases, too, but I never try to prevent someone I would consider town get lynched.

If at the end of this day phase, we have two people up for lynch. One I consider town, and one I was instrumental in causing them to be lynched. I'm not going to flake on my lynch target so we can be sure a player gets lynched. There's a chance you may have saved a player you allegedly thought was towns life through a tie, and you didn't.

I got confused in my own wording in that second sentence, but I mean something like:

"I get morbid curiosity at the end of the day, too, but I wouldn't try contribute to a town lynch."
