Greyjoys (I fully expect a massive naval engagement against Uncle Ramsay)
Maybe Tyrell due to prior allegiance (true to the bitter end during the Usurper's rebellion)
King's Landing is in disarray.

The North are worried about the wall.
She won't even be facing stable nations united under their kings like her ancestors did the first time. I fully expect the true major war to be against the White walkers.

It took them mere seconds to completely sink a ship outright. They could have strafed and just set fire to the sails and decks to let them sink in a couple minutes. The goal though was to inspire terror among the fleet and nothing quite does terror like being burned alive.

She spent so long building and army and getting ships, when she finally gets to Westeros she would realise she didn't even need any of that and there isn't anything to 'win' as such... until someone tells her of Jon and the White Walkers.
I do wonder why White Walkers can't have ships or go over the sea though, that's an easy way around the wall. Another magical barrier along the coast?
Stopped watching after episode 2 for some reason, only just now caught up and hell, it's actually been a pretty great season. Far better than season 5, that's for sure. Still kinda iffy on the whole hold the door thing, but otherwise I've liked.. Well, everything!

Strength vs Size AND a whole lot more strength.
As Drogon and the other dragons continue to grow in size, do their skin/scales also become increasingly stronger as well? Video games typically have a dragon scale type armor so dragon scale must be tough.
It also takes much longer to film the big action scenes. Think about how long most Hollywood movies spend in production vs. how long the Thrones crew have got to make 10 hours of comparable content.

I read this yesterday and would love to know what the original take was. Though I'm not disappointed they changed it.
It makes me wonder about some of the other things people might not have been keen on in the past when he mentions that DnD "like their scripts executed the way they wrote them".
I wish they could get Sapochnik to direct more episodes because even non action sequences were so beautifully shot. Though due to time constraints I'm sure that it's impossible.

It's only up for preorder so far, and there aren't previews so we can't listen, but I'm gonna guess if it's on the soundtrack it's probably part of track 14, which is titled "Let's Play a Game." Presumably that's the music that starts with Rickon running and ends with Jon facing down the charge. Might also be track 15, which is titled "Bastard." Tracks past that look like finale stuff.
I would like a side series, animation perhaps, just about the adventures of Ghost on his days off.

i'd laugh my asss off if little finger pulls a necklace up from under his shirt and reveals he is the lord of the light's servent. a priest as such and then super sayins into a firey blob killing 3/4s of the white walkers/wrights only leaving the night king and his guard to fight against the rest of the main characters.

That was possibly the most satisfying 15 minutes of television I've ever watched. I mean the whole battle was absolutely fantastic, fucking brutal but to watch Ramsay get absolutely battered AND eaten by his own dogs. Christ I didn't think this show would ever reward us with something like that, it was like the exact opposite of the Mountain vs The Viper.
I reckon King's Landing is going up in flames next week, though we'll have to see, I imagine that storyline will be the focus of the episode. Also great to see Theon and Yara get to Daeny first.

Thinking of Dany's invasion of Westeros and the state of the country as of right now, I started having fun with the numbers of the remaining forces of Westeros.
The North:
The Boltons, Umbers, Karstarks, Starks, wildling and minor houses forces have been almost completely depleted. The remaining noteworthy houses are the Cerwyns and the Manderlys.
I want to say there are 2,000 Cerwyn men, but I have absolutely no idea where that number comes from. Let's just go with that number for the whole North.
The Riverlands:
Right now, most of the Riverlands forces are Freys :V
Adding to that whatever the Blackfish managed to get, and assuming most of the forces Frey gave to Robb came back, this should put the Riverlands at again 2,000.
The Vale:
Highly speculative, but someone once said that the Vale's army matched Robb's. And since they were untouched by any war until BastardBowl (and they still were pretty much untouched after that), they probably have around 20,000 men.
The Westerlands:
It seems other people speculate the Lannisters to have between 30,000 and 60,000 men. Don't know if that number is before the wars or not. Let's take the average and give them 45,000.
The Reach:
I think it was Jaime that mentions the Tyrells have the second biggest army of Westeros. Not accounting for the size of the Dornish army, as of this line in this post, the second biggest army is the Vale and the biggest the Lannisters. Let's give them a point between those two, I'd say 35,000.
The Stormlands:
An important portion of the Stormlands army was lost to the Blackwater, and the siege of Winterfell. Doubt that there is much more from them. Gonna give them another 2,000.
Dorne:
God, do they love to be different. Anyway, the Dornish numbers are all over the place. Apparently, GRRM has said that Dorne is as strong as the North or the Vale. That would put them in the 20,000 range. I think that's a nice number.
Summary:
North: 2,000
Riverlands: 2,000
Vale: 20,000
Westerlands: 45,000
Reach: 35,000
Stormlands: 2,000
Dorne: 20,000
Total:
Westeros: 126,000
Dany's army was around 8-9,000 before she got kidnapped by the Dothraki considering all the loses from the Harpies and whatnot. The Khalasaar she got is said to be 100,00 though it is not clear how many of those are fighting men. Everyone is assuming 50% of that are fighting men, so let's go with that. That puts 60,000 men on her side, and 3 goddamn dragons above her.
If and only if, the entirety of Westeros is summoned to fight Daenerys, There is a chance she could be repelled if for example they focus on the dragons first.
But, Dorne is likely to side with her, because feminism and Lannister hate. And I don't think anyone but the Lannister-Tyrell forces would even bother.
That puts the resulting armies in
Westeros: 80,000
Dany: 80,000 + 3 Dragons

Best moment of the whole season, and it was due to scheduling problems.

She was talking about the rumors in episode 8, before that we had a few shots of wildfire breaking out in one of Bran's visions. In episode 9, Tyrian was talking about wildfire in king's landing which hardly seems coincidental.
Put two and two together, Cersei will use wild fire in sure of it.

I feel like the last few episodes of the series will be like movie length (and almost movie budget). I dont mind 7 episodes or so a season if each episode is like 70+ minutes.

That wild fire is definitely getting used in some way soon. No way around that. They've been nudging the viewer and reminding us of it all season. It was the same thing with Cersei's trial by combat. She kept bringing up winning as a certainty (or should I say Cerseinty), so something had to go wrong with it.
