Why give him alternatives if you think he's scum?

Force him to name claim and then play your "gotcha" if he fucks up

I mostly trusted Darryl until he turned on SS on D4, now I can't make sense of his play. I need Kark to claim properly because what he's described so far isn't a role.

Nothing on his OA push? Worthy was still a likely D3 lynch with a bunch of people on the fence. These posts are in succession.

This is what is giving me the most pause because they could have been been cleverly disguising as someone wanting Worthy lynched, but in the end working to protecting him.

I didn't provide any alternatives to a scum Kark that I saw he was scheming towards going for anyway with that suspiciously empty "sibling" claim of his. He's holding back deliberately and the potential of his nameless claim is better pre-empted for the sake of keeping Town informed of the possibilities, rather than leaving it to a "gotcha" as you say; what if no one intervenes after his name-drop? Then we all head into Night 4 contented with our ignorance and his apparent clearing-by-silence. No fucking thanks.

In the context of the nameless nature of the evil clones (barring Dani), that fact had to be pointed out because there are players here who might not be familiar with the lore and characters of this theme, and we need to be told what we could potentially be dealing with here.

Scum Darryl would know OA flips town, so here he links the town flip with NOT attacking SS the next day.

But on the other hand... he did attack SS the next day anyway? I still can't understand that. Unless they're both scum and it was a late bus attempt? Seems very sloppy for Darryl though.

  • What Rats Off To Ya oh-so conveniently neglected to bring up in his Role-claim, is that the person he's claimed to be, Valerie Gray, is yes, indeed a resident of Amity Park and a classmate of Danny Phantom's, but is also a ghost-hunter who despises Danny for ruining her family and her father's job, and on multiple occasions fought him as a rival. Valerie does have a flying rocket hoverboard (your "rocket sled", Rats?) though. Scum Switcher?

    In any case, I'm inclined to believe Rats is, if not lying scum, a Neutral or Lyncher who is hunting for Danny.

    Royal_Flush asked me if I had a plan B to lynching Town Leader Karkadarryl Today, and while I REALLY don't want us to yet again avoid kicking his tyranny out of your brainwashed minds once for and all, I will begrudgingly settle for banishing Rats Today instead, who has seemed to be Karkadarryl's fawning associate for a long time now.
  • Danny Phantom only has one real sibling, and that's his older sister Jazz Fenton... why would Karkadarryl say that he's Danny's sibling and leave it ambiguous like that, when there's only one sibling in the first place? My theory is that Karkador deliberately did not say he's Jazz Fenton outright, because he's scared that someone else is really her in this game, and he doesn't want to be caught in a Role-name lie.

    The only possible real alternative (and it's potentially highly scummy too) to being Danny Phantom's "sibling", is if Karkadarryl is one of the five clones of Danny Phantom who were evil henchmen of Vlad Masters (his nemesis), or Dani Phantom, Danny's younger female clone, who was created by Vlad Masters and was initially his minion and one of Danny's enemies.

    I think Kark is scum even more now, and he was trying to be coy about it with his "sibling" response without providing a name, especially considering the fact that the evil clones don't really have names for Kark to provide.

Previous post was in response to Ty4on. In terms of the possibility that it was a deflection from TWE: its possible. He's already explicitly deflecting from SS though. I'd have to go back to try and see how viable TWE was as a lynch candidate, and why people moved off him.

So force a name claim and then say all that. Getting your bit in first only serves to undermine his name claim when he makes it. That's only beneficial if you are scum.

I want a claim from Kark too. I know I said that I trusted him earlier, but I'm starting to have doubts. DP would speak up if Kark was lying right? And we know DP exists in this game.

Since when is pre-empting someone, scummy undermining? Did you not read my explanation? And "undermining"? Am I sabotaging his nameless Role-claim now, or helping it? Make up your mind.

I didn't expect to be called out for informing Town of possibilities. If you're saying that I'm setting up multiple name-paths for Kark to steer his nameless claim into, then you need to start paying attention to context more; with the "sibling" connotation, Kark can only reliably name-claim as either Jazz Fenton, a likely Town-aligned Role, or Dani Phantom, his female clone who was created by his evil nemesis Vlad Masters and was initially his minion but eventually defected to Danny's side. Claiming as Dani would be a very suspect name-claim as it could easily be any alignment; Town or likely Neutral if it's the later Dani, or outright scum if it's still Vlad's minion Dani.

Kark can't claim as the other definitely evil clones, because not only are they canonically evil henchmen of Vlad and therefore probably scum, they are all nameless clones too.

If Kark claims as Jazz, I still want him lynched; to paraphrase Darryl's immortal words, if Karkadarryl is what he says he is by proving it through flipping him, we can give a Ty4on lynch another thought.

If Kark claims as Dani, for the same reasons and above, I want him lynched even more.

Is there any scenario where you don't want me lynched? You're acting a lot like scum-mode Blargonaut, with this ruthless tunneling of players with overblown rationales that come up like empty promises about what we get for lynching.

So that's one reason I didn't reveal more info. I know that even if I did, you'll approach me with the same hostility. So I'd rather just not say, and see you churn away at your accusation.

Blarg slipped once in this game already with this aggression by proposing a very misleading plan. He wanted to you all to lynch based on the prospect of getting info that was clearly not there to get.

IMO, if Blarg isn't scum, then someone who jumped onboard that plan could be. But Blarg could be scum.

Starting in 15 minutes I might not have access until day is over. Thats why I'm doing this in a rushed manner. You guys sort this out and Rats protect me plz and thank you.

My role is also why I dislike the miller. My role said it it can distinguish between ghosts and humans, and that DP would not be a false positive as he has some human DNA. Still might be true about being a miller tho.

i felt this way at the start of today, Darryl's....thing honestly made me more sure (certainly wouldnt be the first time iv seen a mafia react poorly to stress), i didnt believe karks claim to having a mystic penpal, and i sure as hell dont like his refusal to say any more about it (its hard for someone to contradict you when you dont say anything, right?).
the whole situation just feels....... icky.

I can't find any crumbs, but I don't see why scum Panda would claim cop. He isn't a very likely lynch and it's really risky if he's trying to protect Trigger.

Not 100% sure how voting effects replacements but assuming they do *not* transfer over to the new player(s) it is odd to me that Panda claims cop and tells he won't be around for the end of the day, but doesn't make sure to transfer his vote to *Splinter?

We haven't had a closer look at panda but since he claimed cop...I will give the benefit of the doubt and give a pass for the day.

So between Royal and Karkarryl, panda technically read royal as town.

Ty4on is apparently town as panda checked him @ N1

So this is a scenario I can see

a1) If we lynch Kark, he flips town (vanilla)-> Panda may or may not be scum
a2) If we lynch Kark, he flips town and says he is who he says he is -> we focus on ty4on the next day
a3) If we lynch Kark, he flips scum -> 90% confirms Panda to be cop

b1) If we lynch Panda, he flips town and says he is who he says he is -> we focus on Kark
b2) If we lynch Panda, he flips scum -> we should focus on ty4on and Trigger the next day

right now I really don't feel the need to get rid of Panda because of the prospect of a cop claim at this point in the game and being very useful in the near future.

As for Kark...he just joined the game here...but the fact that from his previous predecessor, Darryl, who I believe had somewhat of a good intention to help town but had wrongful results for 3 days...I would probably need to see the full roleclaim if you want the trust from me atm. So for now

I am, in fact, Jazz - no surprise there. What I've told you about my role is all true, but to clarify - I was recruited by Danny Phantom. I haven't been in contact with him since D1.

The way Phantom's recruitment works is that there's a specific set of Town PRs in the game (his friends) who are recruited when Phantom targets them. If he targets someone and they aren't recruited, they are NOT A FRIEND. It doesn't necessarily mean they're scum, but it's a lead worth pursuing anyhow. Ty4on was that person.

So, here's what Mr. Phantom can do: Now that Tucker has revealed, Phantom will simply recruit him. If he can't, then we know he's full of it.

Also, before anybody asks "but what about Enker's Enabler power for Danny Phantom? He shouldn't be able to recruit anymore" - there was another component to Phantom's power that is now disabled, but it doesn't affect the recruitment part (and that he only successfully recruits Town)

Why would I bother using language as specific as "not a friend", instead of more concrete game terms like Town/Scum, if there wasn't a catch to it?

Anyway, I'm not worried about the cop claim. DP will sort out that Cop claim real quick. At worst, Panda is Ordinary Town just telling lies. If the claim is true, Team DP will get another recruit. If it's false, Team DP found scum.
