You can MAYBE, blame this on Schengen, as more people smuggle weapons in from Eastern Europe. But then maybe we should work with those Eastern European countries and make them get their shit in order. Or simply introduce penalties.

Schengen shouldn't exist anyway. It is absurd you can drive to one side from the other in Europe without being checked.

The horrendous thing now is the killing of police officers as well in the recent shootings . Sure in the mind of these mass shooting psychos the police pose no danger but for the no so unhinged the police, as expected, served as a deterrent, with the event increasing body count of officers killed and mass shootings directly pointed at police.that deterrent is no so much important or intimidating anymore.


Hope they catch the psycho for this and as minimal casualties as possible.

Not just copycats but people know it's a way for them to get attention. I really believe the most effective thing to minimize mass killings would be to not pay attention to them. For them to not even make the news. I know that's not really that practical, and doubt people ever become desensitized to the point they aren't ratings boosters. There's no doubt mass murderers crave the spotlight though.
