Wow. the overreactions in that vid are insane. The guy had to put his controller down because he couldn't believe he was playing a rare game? This is so lame.

Game looks decent graphically.

The water is just crazy impressive and the day-to-night cycle is fantastic.

I love how this is coming together. I wish there were some kind of solo campaign too, but I'll get over it.

I'm sorry, nothing about this looks all that intriguing to me. Happy for the people this is resonating with though, but this just looks like a full pass from me.

This is steadily becoming one of my most anticipated games, every new bit of footage looks amazing.

Definitely helps I've always loved the pirate fantasy and consider it a disappointment we don't have more games that take advantage of it.

Looks great, but hearing those fools just making noises for some "commentary" has me like:

Would love to play this with my Pops. Last time I visited him and brought my PS4 with AssCreed: Black Flag he was addicted.

For some reason, I've always had a disliking for the whole "pirate" aesthetic; never understood the appeal. But damn, this game looks phenomenal. Can't wait to try it out

They weren't actors.

And you have to keep in mind that these are Rare superfans who won a contest to visit the studio so you can imagine how hyped they'd be.
Yeah, not actors. Probably super fans and YT/Twitch people. Exactly what I would expect from people who developed an "online personality".

It looks beautiful, but like with E3, I would love to see some direct-feed gameplay of this without people screaming over it.

I love the art style and the sea looks amazing. And during the ingame parts the only thing I could think about was how amazing this could be as an action adventure or RPG in third and/or first person with lots of islands to sail to and NPCs to talk to. As lovely as it all looks and the atmosphere is spot on too, I still don't have a clear idea what I can expect from the gameplay. Nor do they really show it. It would not surprise me if this is still early days for the game. As fun as going to the bar having a drink with your pirate buddies sound, and dive down to find treasure and stuff and of course the naval combat, there has to be more to it I'm sure. We'll just have to wait and see. But this one has great potential.
