big macs use 1/10 lb patties..... i knew they were small ass patties BUT COME ON MAN..

i was hoping the grand mac was going to be a double quarter pounder in big mac form.

so disappointed.

McDonald's needs to make a better quality burger, not bigger versions of their existing burgers.

That Grand Mac looks like its patties are just as thin as the old Big Mac patties. Which means it'll still taste like a thin piece of dry rubber. Work on your meat to bread ratio you idiots.

I had the grand mac in brussels once. Not bad.

Ive also ordered mcdoubles with lettuce and mac sauce without ketchup, so the mac jr makes sense.

For something called a "Big" Mac those things sure aren't very filling. The bigger one should just replace the standard one.

I first glanced at the pic and though they might be using the 1/4 pound patties on the grand mac but no, they are using 1/6 pound patties. I didn't realize they even had those, I thought they just had the regular small patties and then the quarter pound patties.

It surprises me that the two Big Mac patties are 1/10lb each, instead of just half of 1/4 (1/8).

We've had the "Double Big Mac" in Canada for years. The Mac Mini is a nice addition tho.

American McDonalds needs to step it up. It's easily the worst compared to in other countries. It makes zero sense.

They should just release the Mega Mac in America. It's here in Korea and it's freaking awesome.

Oh my god , they've finally heard me ! I've been saying for at least a decade that they're leaving money on the table by NOT making this. Even resorted to the poor mans mini-mac which is to ask for a mcdouble "mac style".

Here's hoping that I can try this stuff out in Canada too.

We've already had this a couple of times in Sweden. I fucking hate it because it's a pain in the ass to "cook" whilst working in the kitchen..

Whatever happened to focus and paring down their menu. This was like the number one reason cited for orders taking forever
They already did that. They honestly have a lot less to offer than most burger places. This is the first new thing they have had since Mozzerlla Sticks in January. They have mostly been focusing on their Pick 2 promotion.

How is the Grand Mac not being called the Mac Daddy?

edit: seems like I'm not the first to think it. GAF should be doing McDonalds marketing.

always thought the Big Mac was a rip off with it's tiny little meat. Got it once as an adult and was not worth it. Had as a kid plenty of times but never realized how small it was.

Oh boy! My issue with McDonalds was that there was only the Big Mac; not a smaller Mac for when I had a larger previous meal or a BIGGER Mac for when I was suuuuuper hungry. Perfect! I'm surely going to eat at McDonalds for all of my meals now!
