Karl Rove's got a good point. If legal action were happening, we'd know about it, but we don't.

I hope we don't go down the 2000 route again.

I don't see the big deal about not conceding. She just wants to wait for all the votes to come in to be 100% sure.

The impression I got from Trump was that even after the votes, he may or may not accept the outcome. Could be wrong though

Even if by some miracle Wisconsin and Michigan went Clinton we would still have Trump in the Presidency. It was over the moment PA went Trump

That's more or less what Trump said too, but then everyone accused him of murdering democracy.

Man, I remember last year telling Bobby Roberts that America was more than capable of electing Trump and he wanted to believe the country was better than that.

R.I.P. a lot of things

She should've called out all the white men and women who voted Trump and asked them what the fuck they were doing.

I still can't fathom they hate minorities so much that they'd willingly vote in someone with no experience, can't even construct a coherent sentence, sex offender, not reporting taxes, embezzling and not paying workers, thinks climate change is a hoax, and a reality TV star on top of it.

Seriously, what are you doing, US citizens? Why do you hate minorities *this* much or be okay with it in spite of the racism?

Did you miss the part where he goes in on Trump for 15 minutes? He called Clinton a shitty politician but he is in no way supporting Trump.

?

I just said he talked shit about the both of them but he was talking shit more about Clinton when comparing them. I mean the guy just said Trump was amazing a few seconds ago. Doesn't matter if he went in on Trump for 15 minutes when he said Trump's better than Clinton as a politician and then said he's amazing.

He can say he isn't supporting Trump but his actions differ.

Hillary must be crushed right now.

She devoted her entire life to serving the people, only to be destroyed by an incompetent demagogue.

I know this sounds really damn stupid and it is, but I kind of blame Jon Stewart for having a small hand in all this. Talk about retiring at the worst time.

Really lame of Clinton. Be gracious and concede tonight like the loser should. Could you imagine if the tables were turned, they would be shitting on Trump. I'm not happy with the results either, but it's the results, deal with it. I still wish Clinton won, but man do I not like her at all.

Thing about conceding:

You saying that you're happy with your opponent winning. This is why Trump didn't want to. He was/is a sore loser.

Now, regardless of how you voted, Hillary is obviously more experienced, and more capable. Do you imagine she's happy with handing power over to a dim-witted misogynistic racist. She is literally giving America over to him. Yes, people have voted, but conceding is saying "I respect you".

And really, why should she? He doesn't respect her. She's a nasty woman.

It's pretty clear why Clinton isn't coming out. Her concession speech would be a lot different if she ends up winning the popular vote.

What does respect their choice mean? Don't disagree with, pfft. People aren't going to overthrow the government over the result so the least we can do is complain when a fascist demagogue is elected President of the US.

That's what I find fascinating about the left because the right was ready to have a revolution if they didn't win. Why isn't the same zeal shared by those on the left?

With Hiliary, for most people, it was a "two of the lesser evils" choice. With Bernie, it would have been a clear "good vs evil" choice.

A shame what the super delegates and the DNC did to Bernie.
You couldn't tell HillGAF that though. You'd be met with snark and condescension. Shouted down with denial and delusion.

Bernie got robbed, and we all lost big tonight because of it.

lol this is like a Sean Murray cop out except Clinton doesn't have anything to be ashamed of and yet still hides likes a coward. Disgusting.

Is there any way Russia could have interfered here to skew results?
They interfered with a fragile public opinion. That was enough.

If it were directly it would be found out... But the. Again they were found out with affecting public perceptions and well.. No one cares.

You know the states passing legal weed are fucked right? Republicans have been pissed as hell about how Obama wasn't enforcing the drug laws and was allowing these states to do this. The war on drugs is back. Just you watch. Feds under Trump are going to crack the hell down in these states that have legal weed. So don't expect to have your legal weed for long.
Every black man just let out a collective groan :/

Not becuase they can't smoke, but because we know the "Drug War" targets poor blacks, which floods the "for profit' prison system along with taking away the rights of the incarcerated (or those with non-violent drug convictions) from voting.

Even though I don't smoke weed myself, I'm happy California voted to legalize it, one less reason to lock low income minorities up :)

I doubt that. Bernie seemed pretty sane.

He wouldn't have taken it either. Hell Obama might not have taken it. The Obama coalition showed up, they got the turnout they were looking to get. Trump won because a bunch of rural white people who never vote showed up. He brought them out, they came out for him.

I don't blame her for not conceding.

Go ahead and cry about sportsmanship when your oompa loompa was shitty at it for a little over a year.

Isn't the point of character is to demonstrate it in spite of your opponent not having a modicum of it? I am reeling from this election, but even I am irked with how she decided to go about it.

Nothing wrong with waiting for the final results, but she has gone home before the results are in. The last person to refuse to concede when the writing was on the wall was John Kerry.

Repubs just officially took the senate.

Cooper is pretty level headed as usual. Even sees some of the charm of Trump. He just said it.

Trump is an idiot, but super entertaining. Unfortunately the country isn't The Apprentice.

which was a result of a destabilized region resulting from the proxy conflicts of the cold war, or the borders drawn by the European colonialism, etc etc.

Well, it was more a result of the USA supporting Osama when he was useful for them.

Decades later the USA still operates with the same mind set.

watching CNN and MSNBC in complete meltdown when they gave this guy a platform the whole time. part of me hopes he really thrashes them for 4 years....

head of networks saying "trump may be bad for america but it's great for ratings"

the elites are to blame for this stupid fucking shit

How do you lose to Donald Trump? Seriously.
You can always count on the democrats to blow a projected easy win. Should have gone with Sanders or Biden.

Yeah, either one of those two would've buried Trump. Heck, Obama would've buried Trump if he were to ran for 2016 (too bad that he can't).

The only two things we can hope for now is either impeachment or if he somehow dies later because of his age.

This is indicative of something much larger taking place everywhere on the globe, because of decades upon decades of jobs' destructions, stagnating incomes, increased inequalities, and, above all, a total mistrust of the political "elite" that has proved to be a weak, malleable, corruptible and oblivious-to-the-common-man's issues' machine. I blame the liberals, partly, especially the media (Hollywood, magazines, commentators, TV hosts and other forums) for glossing over those real problems in favour of more societal things that only affect a fringe of the population, and which should have taken a backseat to social problems.

France is living the same ordeal, and there is no doubt in my mind that the extreme right is going to win the next elections. For years and years, the French media-machine turned a blind eye to the agonizing situations of famers and rural people; ridiculed those millions who dared to speak up against the irrational immigration policy...now, who's laughing?

The left is a joke. It renounced its ideals for cosmetics and trivial issues. It is paying the price dearly and, honestly, it deserves it.

You think voting far right will help these people and the rest of the world?
