well to be fair it seems close to 50/50 felt one way or the other, the democratic party fucked up huge having Hillary as their front runner, she has a bad history with even worse people, and Trump played that hand, and well here it is. It's just a vote of which crooked bustard you pick for a few years, sadly Obama was someone that felt right and trustworthy, neither of these two fit that bill.
The whole process is rigged, we have the ability to govern and make our own choices on each event but we still give it all up to a select few parties around the globe who get to pass power back and forth year after year like it's a big game.

How can(and has) a country as disparate as the United States continue to hold on? Half the country holds the other half as the worst thing ever. Whenever we do come together on anything, there's always a sizeable minority in disagreement. I've been drinking and feeling pretty shitty especially as a gay dude. I don't know if I'm overreacting.
First time voters are taking their ball and going home because they didn't win. They won't be back which is usually what happens.

This is not a failure of democracy. Please don't try to pull that bullshit cuz no one is hearing it. This is an example of the democratic party choosing a terrible candidate and then resting on their laurels as if she was somehow guaranteed.
All the "YASSS QUEENS" in the world couldn't make her look good to the majority. Something which is needed if you want your candidate to win. Your labeling of anyone opposing her as demons, even your own fucking side, (Bernie supporters) only helped to ruin Hillary even more.
She never had anything going for her other then being the less crazy candidate. Unfortunately she forgot to capitalize on any positives or major changes that she was interested in. She left out middle America and it shows by how people voted. She left out the midwest as well. She was unable to defeat a complete garbage candidate like Trump and that's example enough of why she was the wrong choice for the democratic party.
