Weird that he'd reveal so many so soon. He was so cryptic with the extra characters during MvC3 and Ultimate.
Anyway, if true, Asura's inclusion better not mean no Gene...
Also, an X - Protoman combination is just weird and crazy, but I like it.

Solid Capcom picks, but pretty weak Marvel additions. Gwenpool would be a lame addition to this game, and just piss people who want Deadpool off.
Asura is my most wanted newcomer; I'd love to see Yasha and his amazing theme too, but I can't get too greedy.

I'm almost postitive Lupinko didn't say that. He posts here and he's busy talking about the new SFV character possibilities.
it's from a 4chan posted with some guy posting with the name "lupinko", there was a screenshot of it earlier last week before the game was revealed
i read something that made me go back and watch the trailer for a 4th time and it's a pretty funny detail that shows how early this game is in development:
if you look at megaman when he's being shot by iron avenger's final unibeam, he's t-posing
also, i didn't notice before that iron man's st.H effect changed. it's one of the major things that really bugs me about the look of the game right now- the effects on moves outright look worse than the previous entry's counterparts.
i hope they really go in on changing that stuff up, especially considering how early it is in development. it's actually even more noticeable with his cr.M which doesn't have that cool giant pink+blue boost anymore- it's just a blue spike sticking out like his st.H

Wonder if they will go left field and pick a new Roll (Battle Network or Legends) for this game, if that leak is real that is. If they go Megaman Roll I hope they use the retro MvC1 look.

Yeah Lupinko was kind of a piece of shit when it came to MvC3 and UMvC3 leakss. Piece of shit in a fun way....kind of.
He was super cryptic and didn't really confirm or deny many characters outright. But then when they were revealed it was obvious he knew them. He was active here a lot. I was lurking waiting forever for my account to be approved.
So yeah, I wouldn't believe this list.

The original SRK leak said we'd get a Monster Hunter dragon.

Did it specify whether or not it was a dragon in the common usage sense or a dragon in Monster Hunter technical definition sense? The answer to that question determines whether or not I'm going to expect Rathalos or Shagaru Magala.

Huh? I thought Ms Marvel was Captain Marvel? Seems a but silly to have Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel in the same game unless this list was made before any of the characters got revealed.

They're very different characters.
Captain Marvel used to be called Ms. Marvel back when her book was worth reading. She changed it since then.
That name now belongs to a totally different character with totally different powers, who picked it up because she idolized the current Captain Marvel and no one was using it anyway. Ms. Marvel could easily adapt a bunch of Super Skrull's moveset.

Roll AND Protoman? That just sounds weird unless one of them is the .exe ver. of the character, OR Roll is the Legends/Dash ver. of the character.
I think it'd be cool if Roll.exe and classic Protoman joined the roster, with a mostly the same ported Tron and we got a rep for every major Mega Man franchise.
That ain't happening, but it'd be neat.

Mark this post, because I am positive it is Crystal Hunter from X2. It's a round, semi-liquid and is flying at an arc. The attack in the trailer also has "shiny" effects flying off it just like the attack does in SNES and when Crystal Snail uses it. Considering the odd arc for a fighting game projectile, it's a zoning tool similar to SFV's Sim's fireballs and if it hits it will immobilize the opponent in a crystal shell.

Correct. That is Abel City from Maverick Hunter X. The large tower in the center is Maverick Hunter HQ.

Then I'll take that to mean that the source of this rumor lacks familiarity with the Monster Hunter franchise, since dragon is a technical term in-series that might create false assumptions in fans if used improperly.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder if the other stages will be a merging of the two universes. The big boss seems like a merging, I guess that'll be the centeral plot.
I'm cool with this list minus Gwenpool.

Like Drayco said, Gwenpool (not actually a Gwen Stacy mind you) is a much better character than she had any right to be. It wouldnt surprise me in the least to see her in, shes been getting a big push lately, and it bypasses having Deadpool in in a way I guess.
