I've been using that site for years and did not know you could do that. Thanks

Just use isthereanydeal to see if it is cheaper elsewhere or has been recently. If Steam has the lowest ever price, it's pretty safe to assume anywhere that does beat it probably won't do by much. Most of the time Steam sales are beaten by somewhere else. Last sale I only bought 1 game on Steam compared to like 8 games on other sites.

You can also import your steam wishlist to isthereanydeal and they will email you any time the game goes cheaper.

Also, with no flash/daily sales, there is no harm in waiting if you can be patient. The deals don't change.

Same!

Site is down though -.-

Also it doesn't have my local currency =(

Should I buy a Steam Controller?

I'd say yes, but then again I'm someone that has been able to get accustomed to it quite quickly and enjoy the freedom and flexibility of the controller so much that I am happy to deal with some of the misgivings it will have for a while to come, where there are occasional bugs, some games that won't work completely perfectly and will require alternative solutions (such as substituting mouse control with "mouse-like stick" options, etc.

Currently I literally use it for everything on when at my TV and every controller based game when at a desk and it is pretty brilliant throughout, mostly using a popular binding set and altering it to suit how I like to play when necessary. Whatever you decide, it will take a while for you to get used to its mechanics and how to deal with games that might not be able to work exactly how you want.

Is Dragon Quest Heroes at least as good as Hyrule Warriors? HW was my first Warriors game and I loved it to death.

Also, will it run decently on a modest i5 notebook with a GeForce 840M?

They really, fuckin really should put the demo on PC, that would boost the sales so damn hard.

I hope not, not a big fan of being spoiled the last boss 2 months prior to release. If the game has secrets, I'll gladly take the hit and enjoy the demo only on PS4, I do agree they should hurry up with release on PC though and get it day and date with PS4.

It's OK, but its sequel is better and is very likely to release on Steam too.
Also you have similar specs to my cousin's laptop heh.

For all the buyers of the Holiday Box from SE. The 50% discount for the Hitman upgrade stacks with the offer, leaving the game at 10€ (probably a mistake because the voucher was only available from 16 to 30 january) so hurry up and grab the upgrade if you were on the fence!

i also want this game so much. id like to read some impressions...

Most people say its really different in combat gameplay and it takes some time and effort to get into it. That was the reason why i was waiting for a sale. Id bet this game fits perfect to my tastes but 15 bucks to check it out seems a bit risky. A combat demo would be nice, cause combats can ruin one game completly as a whole.

What is the lowest you guys will sell a card for?

My cut off is $0.05c CAD. At that point I get $0.02c back I think and it isnt worth the trouble of authenticating.

Before the sale starts, I'd recommend taking note of any titles you want that are currently discounted as there's a good chance that the sale discount be applied on top of the pre-existing one.

But I already bought Rev 2 and RE6...

i need people to level their pawns faster, i'm so damn addicted to this game

i feel like

If you want to add teggygah as a Steam friend I have a pawn in there. You might have leveled past it, though, I got distracted from the game for some reason and didn't come back.

I sell all of it while listening to podcasts. In bulk, the actions of selling cards doesn't take that much time per card and takes almost nothing from me mentally.

In case you missed the posts: this javascript code for Greasemonkey allows to sell cards for prices set automagically. It works flawlessly.

I believe it uses (based on my quick code preview)

Highest of:

1) Average selling price during last week
2) Lowest sell order

and lists one cent below.

It is easy to modify the javascript and make it list one cent higher instead. This is the fork which I am using and talking about below.

Code:
        // If the highest average price is lower than the first listing, return 1 cent below that listing.
        // Otherwise, use the highest average price instead.
        if (historyPrice < listingPrice) {
            if (belowFirstListing) {
                return listingPrice - 1;
            }
            return listingPrice;
        } else {
            return historyPrice;
        }

This piece of code is present in two functions in the javascript source, but only called for one of the two functions in practice. So I have changed this piece of code in calculateSellPriceHistogram() to:

Code:
        if (historyPrice < listingPrice) {
            return listingPrice + 1;
        } else {
            return historyPrice + 1;
        }

Interesting, I will look into this. I use enhanced steam and just hit "quick sell" for every one. But then I have to go on my phone and say "okay". I will install that now.

It looks like AmazonUS has jumped the gun and put the Steam Controller and Link on sale. The Controller + Case is $35 again, and the Link is back down to $20.

Wow I just did it and it listed 430 cards, does it do automatically set to 1c less than lowest price?

the american price in the us store is 59.99 for dragon quest

wtf square

You can buy from the EU store. I just told them I was in Spain and paid with PayPal. I did have to input a code from a text to verify the transaction though.

It takes a while to get used to it, but it works very good and it's great for games without controller support. I should try to play a game that relies on the camera, because I usually avoid using it on any game that requires the use of a d-pad or a right stick.

It's a terrible, terrible option for games made with gamepads in mind.
It's an amazing, simply glorious option for games made with mouse + keyboard in mind.
As long as you treat it as a wireless mouse/keyboard, it's amazing.
Best to have a good gamepad handy as well, I can't imagine enjoying old 2D platformers on SC.
