Eire/Euro GAF, do you know if UK PS+ subs work on Irish / EU accounts? Someone got it for me as a gift but I'm not sure if it will.

UK: Argos has Xbox One elite controller plus a free game (choice out of Forza Horizon 3, Gears 4, Dead Rising 4 or Halo 5) for £99.

To my knowledge Horizon 3 hasn't been discounted much in the UK, so if you were thinking about getting it now, that deal is essentially an elite controller for £60.

Since I just bought it, Doom is 20€ on PSN. I'm pretty sure it hasn't gone lower so far, deal's good for the end of the year and a few days iirc

Does anyone use play-asia enough to know how/where to input the damn promo codes? I've tried their desktop and mobile sites from one point to another of the add to cart/checkout process and nowhere does a promo code option appear. It's a mystery.

I think you can get it in most countries for €20 at retail price if that is more your thing. Amazon.de shows for 23,xx and Dutch Gamemania show €19,98. Zavvi is €19,19

My bloody luck, added Dead Rising to cart for £15, eat dinner and when I go to checkout after price hiked to £22, same seller.

PSN also screwed up my account so I cannot add funds for 3 days at least, so probably gonna miss the PayPal deal I got activated ony account.

Just noticed Downwell has dropped to 99p on Android. I know it's been cheaper on other platforms (including 67p on Steam right now) and it's probably harder to play with touchscreen controls, but I've wanted it on my phone for a while and I think it's the first time the Google Play price has gone below its original £2.30-ish.

Dropped early December - so not a flash sale. Could be a long offer or could be new permanent price.

Any particularly good FFXV deals right now - preferably in Germany? After my pre-order has been lost in the mail for a month now, SimplyGames refunded me today rather than trying to find it. Preferably one that I can get quickly, tired of waiting for sure.

Should I be asking in here if I'm looking for a good price on bigger PS4 hard drives? I know next to nothing about if I need an external or internal (I hear you can't play games directly off an external?), and no idea on what a good price is for a 2TB or 4TB etc.

I searched and saw this post from a few weeks back, but not sure if the price on the site is still the good price the poster was referring to (€89).

I'm in UK, though, and ideally want something at least 2TB. I was thinking 4TB, but assume those are much more expensive, and would it potentially run slower than a 2TB? If I'm in the wrong thread for deals/info on these things, please direct me n_n;

For people who need a cheap 2tb hard drive for your ps4 this is a good one

Bought a 2TB Firecuda (ST2000LX001), couple of weeks ago via Alzashop. Really happy with the purchase. Easy install. Works like a charm.

They have a dedicated UK site, and the drive is in stock atm:

Makes sense for me to get the back order one at Amazon, since I'd save £12 when adding postage at Alza.

One of the Amazon reviews had crashes after installing it on his PS4 tho? Are these things definitely okay to use on the console? Just want to be sure, because I don't want to go through the hassle if there is potential for it to screw up.

I got this from Argos for £63 http://www.argos.co.uk/product/2489935, shame you've just missed 10% cashback from quidco.
Easy to pop case open and swap PS4 hdd

Yes. I use one.

DOA hard drives are a fact of life whatever the brand or model. Just pray that the postie doesn't drop kick it over your side gate if you're out.

Works perfectly fine. Who knows what happened in that particular case. *shrug*
Just follow the Sony instructions on HDD replacement and you're good to go.
Oh, and standard "electronics work" etiquette applies (grounding yourself, clean hands, etc. :D ).

Is there anything better about the £100 one than this one below?

http://www.argos.co.uk/product/2489935

Cheaper option by far, but any drawbacks?

Edit: lol, well it's not in stock near where I live, nor available for delivery, so looks like I would have to go for the £100 one anyway. Or could get the Argos one off Amazon.

Anywhere know the cheapest I can find Titanfall 2 for PS4? Going to get TLG tomorrow and may double down with TF2 if I can find it for a similar price

Thanks for the help. Have been reading a guide at gamefaqs about how to get 3.5" drives bigger than 2TB working too, but clearly the easier option is a 2.5" 2TB. I'll have a think over the next few days about what to pick up.

Deus Ex on PS4 and XBox One is currently £14.99 from Smyths Toy Stores and it's the day one edition with some extra content as I picked one up from them yesterday.

Alternatively it's £14.86 currently from that Shop number place we don't talk about.
