Anyone here gaming for less than 5 hours a week?

I've stopped gaming completely and just watch Giant Bomb videos.

Too tired from work to play during weekdays and social life takes over weekends.

Grindin/collecting in World of FF on vita.
Seriously fucking hate the battle load times.

About 2 hours a week. :(

And i got 4 ps4 games to add to the backlog from xmas

That'd be me! Have a wife and 3 year old.

I play Overwatch for an hour or two during the week with some friends, and then I'll just slowly make my way through any single player game I'm interested in. It took me almost three weeks to beat The Last Guardian, but I did it!

I'm playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'll then move on to Doom, and then probably Gravity Rush 2. School and work make life tough. I'll be trying to get to Final Fantasy XV at some point also. Graduate in May, so probably then when I'll have more time.

Just depending on life I go through seasons of <5 hours of play time a week. Usually its games with daily checklists.

If Destiny, do the daily mission and weekly strikes, *maybe* weekly crucible playlist.

If Overwatch i'll try squeezing in a few wins for the free loot box every 3 wins.

Then theres stuff like stardew valley and animal crossing where I can play at my own pace without feeling I need to do certain things within that week.

Lately it was actually FFXV. The sidequests were fun to chip away at. I had 30 min to play? I could do a side quest or 2. If more time maybe a hunt. Maybe a dungeon if I had an hour or more.

Stuff like TLG and Uncharted 4 are stuck in my backlog for the time being as I feel I need to be really invested in those and they require more consistent time.

Feelings of guilt rise when I actually play games, like I'm neglecting things I need to do, but wasting even more time just reading about games doesn't bother me for some reason.

Currently, Pokemon sun.

Usually 45 minutes a night, if I get a chance to play. Most times only play 3-4 days a week. Wife, kid, job, and other hobbies take up my time.

Usually play through solo linear games.

Changes week to week. Lately I feel like I've been hovering around 5 though. A couple hours of Rocket League and a couple hours of Hitman is what I've been alternating between.

If so, what do you play?

Also, congrats on the job, s.o., or kid.
8 month old twins. If I manage an hour a week it's a good week ☹

I have a great window to play 930-1130 each night but I'm physically shattered by 9pm and just cannot manage it. Netflix in bed or asleep by 945 usually instead.

Switch has my name all over it.

Trying to improve myself by learning to cook, organize and anything to make living with gf easier in the near future. So only "gaming" I do is visiting NeoGAF lol.

I can go a few weeks without touching a game, then get a long session in on a weekend. I doubt I get 10 hours in a month on average.

I don't play games on weekdays anymore (unless playing Pokémon Go when I walk to work counts ) So I only game an hour or two on weekends. Mario Kart 8 only :(

Nintendo Switch cannot come soon enough.

When I'm between terms at school(in addition to fulltime work) I get in about 20-30 minutes of Overwatch on some nights, with maybe a round or two of Hearhstone, Binding of Isaac, or Enter the Gungeon in small doses.

I find it difficult to muster up enthusiasm to play anything sizable and when I do have a bit more free time I will usually search for a very short(2-4 hour) single player experience to ensure that I get it done before I have to shelve it for real life. It means I'm missing a lot of great games and gaming experiences, been a long couple of years...

When I did full-time work and school I had no time for games during the week. And on my off days I had little motivation or the want to play video games.

This year I will be bringing a child into the world but also graduating so i'm essentially trading one responsibility for another (more time consuming?) one.

It depends on what I'm playing. Normally I'd be surprised if I can get 2-3 hours of gaming in a week. If there's a new release that I've been waiting for, I'll binge on that to get it out of the way, otherwise it'll most likely get shelved.

I currently have break, but yeah I normally get 5-7 hours a week for gaming. Just chugging along that backlog.

I'm lucky if I can get about two or three hours around this time of year.

Five hours per week seems like too much though. I've got other shit to do.

This is probably what I average a week, but it varies every week and can quite a lot. I mostly don't have the drive to play games for some reason.I talk about them way more than play them.

Me.

I play Overwatch about 30 minutes a night, enough time for two matches. If I get lucky, I'll be able to wake up early on the weekends and get some time in. I try to stick to single player games or competitive MP games that I can jump in and out of pretty quick. I somehow got enough time to complete FFXV this month, not sure how that happened.

I care about my fiancee more than games, and I spend a lot of my free time on music. So, sadly, games have been put aside compared to a few years ago.

yeah it sucks. 5 hours total for the last 10 days, maybe. Holiday season is busier than a product launch. Been dying to get back to FFV

Usually 5 hours or so unless something REALLY gets its hooks into me. Just finished SuperHot. Holy Crap how are people still not raving about that game.

I play once a week two or three hours (maybe four)... Wife, job and university on mid-30's... I could play more maybe but I'm always thinking on the next exam or practice...

I play less than 5 hours a week. I play SFV and GTA V mostly. I also just started Bully for the first time.

Most of the year, I game for less than 5 hours a week. However come fall, I have a kind of "gaming rage" and can play for many more hours than that a week.

There are weeks where I play games for less than 5 hours if at all. Sometimes due to not being in the mood or stress or other obligations.

Most of the time I get around 10h/week though.

Recently, due to work and other commitments, I usually only manage to play for about 5 or 6 hours a week. I've been plugging away at Destiny for the past 6 months and that's come to the detriment of all the other titles I should be playing, because despite my sudden lack of playing time, I've still been buying games like I used to.
Uncharted 4
Civ 6
Dishonered 2
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Gears of War 4
The Division
Shadow Warrior 2
All not started/unfinished.

I'm going to have to knock Destiny on the head. It's impacting on my other games. I gues this is how WOW players felt at some time. LOL!

Most weeks, yeah. Few matches of SF5 every night.

FF15 came out and I put a lot of time into that. Going to play TLG a lot this weekend.

My gaming time has definitely reduced since my girlfriend moved in back in September.

I can get about an hour a night during the weekday once my girlfriend goes to bed. On the weekends, I can get a couple hours in but even thats kinda tough since we're out and about then. I'm slowly playing through Doom and FF15 right now.

I definitely game less than 5 hours per week. Unless something big comes out that grabs my attention, I don't spend more than 30 minutes a day on gaming. I think about games and how I wish I was playing more, but by the time I actually sit down to play, my enthusiasm is all gone.

I do, normally. I just play whatever. Don't change what i play because of it.

But i've been on vacation and since sunday i've put 22 hours into Deus Ex and it feels niiiiice

I've got all 3 of the above. I'm lucky if I get 2-3 hours in. I feel like in-depth RPGs are off the table because it would be hard to pick up where I left off for quick bursts of playtime, so I've been sticking to shooters lately

I think I still manage to get more than 5 hours for now.

During the work week I try to put in 1-2 hours per night. A lot of the time though by the time I get settled in I just want to veg out and watch something.

Weekends though I tend to play at least 3-4 hours of something.

Right now yes since I've finished everything and I don't want to continue FFXV until they actually patch the whole story in. Once the madness starts in January it's gonna be more like 5 hours a week that I'm not gaming

I manage to get more than 5 hours but only on the weekends and I find myself on here more than I actually play games. I know more about games than I ever did but I play less.

During the week I get none. At weekends I try to get one night playing after the missus goes to bed. Usually involes me staying up to 2am, which I am just not built for these days but means I get a solid 3 hours or so. Doesn't bother me too much, I'd rather a single 3/4 hour chunk than the same spread out over 5 days or whatever.

That's how it is most weeks for me. Though I've been putting serious time into FF15 and Overwatch. I GAF more than I play by a significant margin haha.
