Also yeah, way to spoil the ending directly after hiding the main "spoiler".
That sounds awful.
I still don't know how I Spoil the ending by Referencing one word.
I'm really disappointed in the Quest design from your descriptionFrom what I hear, it's decent. There aren't any NPC travelers that roam around like Zelda or Ghost Recon it seems. Most of the life comes from the machines and the smaller creatures like rabbits or birds and the weather and graphical fidelity. Unfortunately on the Quest side of things, most quests according to the 4Chan dude to boil down to just hunting a machine (which is alright since fighting machines is the main draw of the game) but don't expect elaborate New Vegas Quests though perhaps the story attached to them will be neat.
Because anyone who's seen those films knows what to expect. Just from one word.
Oh....Oh no. No no no. NOOOOOOOOOO3rd choice will be merge robots and bio-machines
Here's the Rub with your argument. FFXV's combat system had tons of issues and awful enemies. There was no real to little strategy to fighting those foes that wasn't a generic one that worked for nearly every foe. To contrast, if most of the foes in Horizon are like the Thunderjaw in complexity (and if they aren't the remixed enemy groups should be interesting) and there's a particular way the player plays to approaching different enemies. It doesn't need to be like New Vegas if the experience the player gets in the end is interesting.
I hope it's fake, it seems too stupid.
Why the hell you should wipe your own race? You are basically Human 2.0 and inheritated Earth from them: just wipe all the robo-saurs and use their robo-corpse to rebuild civilization!
About the game length, pretty weak IMO, I was thinking about 80-100 hours for 100%...

I've said it before but being long for the sake of being long kills a ton of games pacing, bloats their game design and in general is more often than not a negative to me. Give me something with greater focus, tighter mission structure and more entertaining things to do in the short term than just stretching things out for as long as possible.
I love long games and all, but that sounds crazy lol
Would ruin the pacing, Bloodborne was "short" but perfect.
On Witcher 3 most of my friends got bored and didn´t even finished it, i did it but i´m a patience lad.
I didn't read the ending spoilers but those other spoilers sound great to me,especially theone, very excited to play it.being able to hack and ride the flying robot
While my own verdict is still out on the [specifically melee] combat, both the Zoids and their animations are just a feast for the eyes. Hell, as much of a gameplay first kind of person I am, I would probably be satisfied if the gameplay was only "okay" just to see the various robeast designs in action.

I imagine that's the main sacrifice they had to make to get the game to look as good as it does without performance issues.Well if that's true that's a waste of an interesting concept.
Wow, that's what we in the industry call pulling an M. Night...
The industry asks for added on MP modes and micro transactions
I love how we've gotten to the point where even before a game is out we are defending their faults and hoping for a sequel.Well, they needed to get a game out.
In many ways I've always expected a game that is competitive with other open world games, but being a first outing, nowhere near feature density of the best in class open world games.
Horizon 2 though. Hopefully it's successful enough for a sequel.

Given that they already showed that one story-NPC roaming around outside in order for him to get chased by that Watcher that lead into a dialogue tree scene, I'm a little hesitant to believe there won't be at least a few more planned incidents like that, so in the end even if it ends up true that there aren't much roaming NPCs outside of the villages you may feel like there are some people out there even if they are not all over the place anyway if those moments are spread out well. Also, with that Zelda comparison, it's not like there aren't large sections of Zelda games where you run across nobody outside for a while too.
IF that's the case anyway, I doubt too many people would just be randomly roaming with these robo-dinos around. Most of the speaking characters we've seen don't even have the same attitude as Aloy about going out there as well.
I'm sure this game will be technically proficient, but for those who are expecting the RPG of the Decade because they hired two good writers will probably be dissapointed

That being said, I will admit the Horizon 2 statement is dumb and poorly thought out. I didn't think what I said properly.
Glad they didn't go with a Ubibloat approach to open world design. Huge turn off and time waster to me.
I like focused open worlds.
Why are so many here spoiling themselves lol, unless your're like me and never buying the game anyways
I half imagined most of you would be on a total blackout
That sounds almost exactly like the ending to themanga, exceptNausicaa of The Valley of the Wind. Aloy seems to be a similar character towith robots instead of giant insectsas well, except more western in nature.Nausicaa
Theyso that wouldn't be surprising if true.referenced Nausicaä as an influence,
I don't understandIf the robots were made to kill off the food human looking robots.... why is there a choice? Sounds pretty black and white from a narrative prospective. Is the idea she would be, righting wrongs or something. Even then the robots are killing life so I just can't follow this logic.
If the game reviews well i'm probably getting it day 1 so holding off on reading the ending. Would love some leaked gameplay videos though beyond the tutorial. Why are so many here spoiling themselves lol, unless your're like me and never buying the game anyways

Looks like TW3 but way worse and with Skyrim compass, AssCreed eagle vision and 20m sliding slash.
Still looks fun but I think I would get bored very quickly.
