How much are you spending on a Switch day one?

Just the Console, Pro Controller and Zelda at the moment. Would like to pick up an extra game but nothing announced so far seems like a must.

So 430 currently but I won't be shocked if it creeps to 500.

I'm doing mine for the whole month of March.

Nintendo Switch
1, 2, Switch
Fast RMX
Snipperclips: Cut It Out, Together!
Super Bomberman R
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

...and I'll probably purchase every Virtual Console game available. I will slow down on my purchases after the first month.

I think I'm just getting Zelda right off the bat and probably one more game depending on what's out. The switch is being gifted to me by the greatest person ever. So 120 or 420.depending how you count that.

£373 for the console, the Zelda special edition and a carry case. Probably a little more if anything is available digitally (but it's Nintendo, so there's no chance of that).

Console - $300
Pro Controller - $70
Single Joy-con - $50
Joy-con Set - $80
Chargeable Grip - $30
Extra Dock - $90
Games - varies in price
SD card - varies in price
Extra battery - varies in price

Put prices in your responses please.
I don't get this one. Why just 1?
I'm not going in day 1, OP. Just not worth it for me yet.

Man, i still don't know. I basically decided i would skip launch. It's just... too much this time. I WILL buy it eventually, no doubt. But when there are more games and the price is a bit lower. I normally buy a Nintendo machine day 1.

Maybe i still will. With Zelda. So that amount of money.

I'm spending 150 on Zelda master edition but won't be getting switch at all unless it is gifted to me for Christmas. I'm still a bit sour that I bought a Wii u at launch for Zelda that is now launching for the new system. Also buying Wii u version of Zelda to actually play. I think I have a problem given how much money I spend for Zelda goodness

Console £280
Zelda Special Edition £80
Pro Controller £65

Might pick up another game closer to the time but for now Zelda will suffice.

Console - $300
+
Joy-con Set - $80
+
Chargeable Grip - $30
+
The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild - $60
=
$470

Except I'm in Norway, so total actually comes to approximately $815. (incl. 25% VAT)

Edit: I should add that this is based on the pre-order price for the console, which may drop by up to 118 USD.

Switch Neon - 329.98$ Tax included

Zelda Breath of the Wild - 65.98$ Tax included

Mario Kart 8 Preorder - 65.98$ Tax included

Disgaea 5 - 65.98$(?) Tax included

Total - 527.92$

Maybe a cheaper game like

I am Satsuma depending on the price. I would've bought a pro controller if it was cheaper.

$105 for console after GameStop Wii U trade.
$75 for 2 joy-cons + charging grip after $25 best buy visa checkout deal and targeted $10 off coupon.

A game. Not sure if I am going Zelda or Bomberman. I am leaning towards Bomberman and waiting for a good deal on Zelda.

Likely $48 after 20% discount from Amazon Prime.

So $228ish + tax.

Maaaaybe this pdp case for $15.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS7AI9G/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Likely more on Virtual Console. I think I am ready to build a VC library without worrying about system transfers.

I'm at 540 but may go lower..ugh

Console: 300
Joycon 2 set AND charging grip (neon blue red) 90 (i got a discount)
5 BotW amiibos (50, discounts again ;)
BotW special edition 80 w/ GCU
USB c Charger 12
Screen protector set 8

After tallying all this up I might cut the joycons and grip and the separate charger. Ouch

$0, going to be still catching up on all the other amazing releases coming up. Waiting waaay later in this console's life cycle to touch it.

First Nintendo console I'm buying at launch since the SNES.

$299 Switch
$80 Zelda Special Edition (GCU)

Already have MK8 Deluxe preordered. Also planning on picking up PuyoPuyoTetris and Fast RMX once they're available. I can wait on sales/price drops for other stuff.

$375 plus tax. Console, Zelda, and travel case.
That's all I need for a bit.
Definitely getting a pro controller at some point and will likely get another set of Joycons by year end.

Oh jeez...

$299.99 - Grey Console
$_99.99 - TLoZ: BotW SE
$_79.99 - Red/Blue Joy-Cons
$_59.99 - Super Bomberman R (no prime disc. yet)
$_37.99 - 1-2 Switch (prime disc.)
$_29.99 - AC adapter
$_29.99 - Joy-Con charging grip

That's just stuff I've preordered. I also need to add another $70 for a 200GB SDXC card. And I'm not sure if Binding of Issac ($39.99) and Has-Been Heroes ($19.99) will make it for launch day. Thankfully I've paid off both my console and Zelda SE with trade-in credit at Gamestop.

Console - $0
Zelda - $0

(I traded in my Wii U, 3dsXL, and some games for Gamestop Switch pre-order credit, covered the entire thing.)

I just caved in and made a pre-order on the switch and Zelda

By the way, Amazon reduced the price of the switch to 320e and Zelda to 60e

So 380e total.

Then i want a carrying case but I will wait for gaffer impressions to see which ones better

Grey Switch - £280
Zelda - £48
Skylanders - £53
Bomberman - £50 (?)

That's the current damage £431. Hopefully i can get Skylanders lowered to £45 and Bomberman for £40 to meet me with a total of £413.

I have a total of £500 put aside for this. Will either save the money for Mario Kart and ARMS OR get eshop stuff as and when.

Switch: 322
Zelda: 38
Link amiibo: 12
Total: 372 so far. If Best Buy puts up the pro controller while the 25 off 100 visa checkout is active, I'll grab that and the charging joycon thing for about 60 bucks.
38 bucks for Mario kart, xenoblade and Mario each when they come out. GCU and visa checkout is something to write home about.

Console - $328
Zelda - $42
Pro Controller - $76
-----------------------

Total- $446.63 for Console, Pro Controller, and Zelda after tax.

Possibly:
Spare USB C cable or AC Adapter - $10 or $30
Joy Con Charge Grip - $30
Joy Con Controllers - $80 x 3 (another grey set, red set, and blue set)
Nintendo Carrying Case and Screen Protector - $20
Car Charger - $15
Power A Joycon dock - $30
PDP Zelda Earbuds - $20 or PDP Lvl 3 Stereo Headset - $40

Alt's to Nintendo case and screen protector:
PDP Screen Protector - $8
PDP Carrying Case - $15 or PDP Backpack - $50

Prices will include tax.

Console: $320
Zelda: $38
Bomberman: $? (pricing still not confirmed and it's not up for pre-order at Best Buy)
Binding of Isaac? (don't know if this is launch and it's not up for pre-order at Best Buy)

I'm debating getting another pair of Joy-Cons but Best Buy doesn't have the Red or Blue ones up for pre-order yet and if I do, I want to pick up the charging cradle for the Joycons, which will be $33 or so. I'll probably pick up a carrying case and a screen protector so that'll probably be about $35.

Right now, I'm at $358 but that'll jump to at least $388 with the screen protector and carrying case.

Zelda: $99 (Special Edition)
1-2-Switch: $49
Charging JoyCon Grip: $30

All told, $480 or thereabouts. Then I get to drop $50-$60 on whatever games come out next (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, etc)
