Many lives and friendships have been ruined over this age old question, so lets settle this once and for all. Seeing as i started the thread I will try to be as unbiased as possible.

Hot Pizza

Pros:

Hot melty cheese
Freshest crust
Goes great with a cold brew
Always a party when you got hot pizza

Cons:

Slow down there buddy, if you eat it too fast you will burn your tongue



Cold Pizza

Pros:

Can feed to birds

Cons:

Fat rises to top
Cheese no longer melty
Takes up precious space in the fridge
Stale Crust

Varies by pizza. A good local joint is usually gonna taste better fresh and warm, but cheap swill like Little Ceasar's is pretty much made to be better as cold leftover-breakfast.

Almost no pizza I can think of is better cold, but very few pizza places reheat well enough (or aren't perfectly fine cold) that it's worth the trouble of doing so (in the oven, of course, if you're microwaving pizza you deserve to suffer).

Only pizza-like item that's better cold (well, room temperature...) is tomato pie, and since there's no cheese involved it doesn't count in my book.

Cold pizza is not preferable. If it was, it would be sold cold too . There's no market for it.

Basically, ppl who like cold pizza wake up and see that cold pizza is better that then their usual breakfast tripe and say, "Cold pizza is awesome!"
